#Kaithi is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written and directed by #LokeshKanagaraj.The film stars #Karthi, Narain and Dheena. It is produced by S. R. Prakashbabu and S. R. Prabhu under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures and co-produced by Tiruppur Vivek under the banner Vivekananda Pictures.The film's soundtrack was composed by Sam C. S.; Philomin Raj handled the editing, while Sathyan Sooryan was the cinematographer.

@@ganeshpillai9891 Genre of a movie doesn't really count when it comes to Tamil cinema. The father-daughter sentiment in Kaithi worked well even before the jewel scene happened whereas the "emotional" scenes didn't work at all in Bigil. People in my theatre where visibly moaning and laughing. There's a difference between emotional connect and emotional manipulation. Kaithi succeeds in emotional connect while Bigil fails in emotional manipulation.

In #Bigil when Vijay becomes the coach of women's team u can't predict who will win the final or trophy? But in #Kaithi after the first fight u will be able to predict that lorry will reach its destination. BR logic👌👌

Becoz bigil is a commercial movie so before seeing itself we know but khaithi is projected as realistic thriller but the first fight was like in a commercial movies nd didnot satisfy the genre... so BR said like that...

If the main villian reveals at the end that he knows Dilli then there is a high probability that karthi wasn't in prison just for killing his wife's attackers! Dilli could have been involved in things we never know and his wife's killers could have been sent by the main villian himself! My guess is Dilli wasn't revealing the truth to the Lowry owner(dheena), could have just lied to gain dheena's sympathy to sort further help from him!

I saw the movie without watching the trailer, everything seemed fresh and good, now I got a feel that I should watch movies without watching trailer's it's totally a different feel to watch a movie without trailer and disturbance of any sort. It's my feel today that film people should stop giving out trailers, actually they are the spoilers of a movie. This movie's sounds cannot be matched at home, make sounds like this awesome work.

The scene where the informer Ajaz Ahmed gets caught he asks Narain to use his gun. But that gun never gets used by Narain or Karthi instead gets beaten up badly. That seems to be a logic loophole...

If we assess every movie this way, there would be no such thing called 'good film'..... 'What's going to happen has been already conveyed' so what? 'The characters are fully established' so what? Should every thriller film have a twist or characters in the guessing-game? Its important to analyse movies on how's rather than what's.......

Second fight scenes were little unrealistic.. other than that true to the emotional content! And gangs has petrol bombs and all can’t get into the Police station cloud have been made little realistic.. other than it was like watching a Hollywood movie .. the way it progressed starting from setting the tone till the end .. it was like a game and karthi has to cross all hurdles to reach the end of the game ! I liked the movie a lot ! Edge of the seat action entertainer!

I believe that the backstory was made up by karthi... He lied to the character played by dheena. You could revisit karthi's dialogues about his past and the fact that the key bad guy was used less and he even says he knows karthi prior to this. Plus the director has confirmed a sequel.i guess most of your disappointments may be justified by the sequel and how karthi was involved in all this

If Lokesh had not confided in BR that he wrote the story with Mansoor Ali Khan in mind, maybe BR would have liked this film better and may not have felt that the movie is a star vehicle. So the lesson here for directors is not to be open with BR about things??

I think BR is getting too much harsh on Kaithi. It's a well made action film,and the emotional scenes were executed brilliantly and will make the viewers really feel for Karthi's character. I just loved the way in which Karthi enacted the emotional scenes. The actor in Karthi was very impressive,with the controlled acting in the emotional scenes that has really worked in getting connected to Dilli's character. I would say this is one among Karthi's best performances ... Action scenes were also brilliant..

Brangan never compared Kaithi and Bigil. He saw both the movies as stand alone work and talks about the plus and minus. He wanted Kaithi to be better than what was shown.

On a kaithi discussion video, ppl are taking about bigil.Not sure why people are comparing bigil and kaithi. They are 2 different genres. U cannot expect an asuran kind of perfection in a movie like Bigil. The movie is set out to be a mass commercial movie. In my opinion they have achieved it perfectly compared to the previous vijay atlee combo.

In the pre climax, why naren didn't get the gun from his junior( informer) when the informer told naren take the gun from his packet.

@Moneshwaran Kannan yeah, ajaz doesn't know what to do at that moment, but naren could get the gun from ajaz packet & shoot tips(this may be a right move there, naren himself can shoot some others in ajaz team and can lead his(naren) own team to commissioner office) instead of wasting time by tolding ' u r caught' to ajaz

Actually, narain could have used the gun because he is a police officer and he can justify it instead of Dilli in the forest fight who was hesitated to take lorry when they were surrounded and then telling that he cant hit everyone and go back to jail but he can kill Tips and other goons with the gattling gun.

#Kaithi IS THE MOVIE OF THE YEAR 2019. Exceptionally brilliant vision of the Filmmaker. Brilliant Cinematography considering when most of the movie was shot in Night. Brilliant Background musical score which is a character within itself. A MUST WATCH. Last five minutes of the movie was spellbinding.

Narration was more than enough.. that content was more than enough, to be generic was more than enough, this movie is not about suspense, you people might like negative shade of movie and negative movie and bloodshed Already people have lots and lots of problems, people want to leave it enjoy positivity help each other, be cohesive, already this real world has too many roughes, bloodshed and unwanted things, any one can show things raw and cruelty easily, it's is difficult to show good things, this generation has gone for different things and that has landed on more negativity and they have started to enjoy that. That's the reason why comali went through.

How didn't Narain get even an iota of doubt whenever he faces hurdles in the journey which is not known to anyone other than him. Also why he didn't use the gun that Ajaz Ahmed had in his pocket which is contradicting Chekhov's gun principle. Yes I too find the jimikki scene clichéd and same as the one Vs many fight Thankfully the visual of the flashback wasn't shown. The girl in Asuran has acted in Ratchasan and also as Karthi's sister in Theeran.

The director has played with your intelligence, you kept expecting that they would use the gun. But they did use a gun in the end of the movie, which was foreshadowed by Narain in the party, and also because of this when they introduce the heavy machinery, we are not surprised. All this time, we have been thinking about a gun and we get a gun finally. Not necessarily that gun, but a gun.

BR Sir: You have been my favourite reviewer for some years now, but first 96 and now your review to Kaithi was dissapointing especially when you are praising Bigil for the same reasons you are calling Kaithi mediocre. Even Johnny Gaddar one of the best thrillers in India had revealed everything in the first 30 mins and then it's just escaping being caught but the execution that makes it a winner. Kaithi is a very good entertainer and has all the unnecessary flab cut out keeping us hooked, if twists were there it would have looked forced. Respect your opinion but disappointed that this time your views were so different. (Again how could 96 not appeal to you being a Mani Sir fan where silence speaks louder than words)

I couldn't understand, how you guys get satisfied with any kind of movie. I see some dumbest questions from your followers and Your analysis pretending like a Cinema Pithamaha. Please don't do this kind of Post Morton on cinema. If the makers consider these things, they can't write a single line on paper. Discussions and arguments should be helathy, calling yourself critic or somewhat cinema intellect you degraded Malayalam movies and also Tamil movies. That's why most of the filmmakers from 90s can't have similar success right now. You get outdated. Action in this movie was not good? Either you are high or you don't know jack shit about action.And out of all the movies out there you gotta compare it to SAAHO just coz it had action choreographers from abroad? Saaho was shittiest movie of the century. If that kind of budget was given to Mr Lokesh , he would have made Something like Scar-face it self. Anyways all i see these days in this channel is nitpicking. KAithi is true to the genre , and is a must watch.
