I am owning Toyota liva from Dec 2011. I driven it 317000km and still it is giving 18kmpl in city and 22kmpl on highway. So engine is good. I have not faced any problem for servicing till date.

Sure.. I am in car rental biz from last 20 years.. Quality wise toyota products are too good and long life.. As taxi...cars have to face too much stress in hard conditions. Continue running. 1 lakh kmts. approx in one year. Dzire And another products not bad in pvt sector. But if you will compare both than definitely toyota cars can easily complete 7 lakh kmts. 7 years. Only with regular maintenance.. Dzire is good only till 1.5 to 2 lakh kmts. But all this applies only toyota genuine cars.

@@sayonkrsadhu6827 I have just shared my experience with Toyota. It's not anything against Maruti Suzuki. However the owner of Alto should be appreciated that he driven 4.8Lac Kilometres with Alto without any problem.

As far as the Grand Vitara is concerned, it has that typical facia of other MS cars and also looks more like a cross-over than a proper SUV. On the other hand, UC HyRyder has a total fresh appeal and sleek dynamics, in addition to the other SUV like features (Good ground clearance/AWD option) Moreover, the door-step service network of MS is a total myth as most of their mechanics in semi-urban/rural workshops are not properly trained and even the basic spare parts are not available most of the times. Was confused between the two but finally decided to go with the UC HyRyder. 😇

I respectfully disagree with you in a point. You said everything of hyryder have been made by Maruti. So how can the spare parts of Hyryder will become sparse in future? And looks are somewhat subjective, I think. To me Hyryder looks better. But I do agree that manufacturers shouldn’t discontinue their products hurriedly because this affects consumers obliquely and resale values plummet. For your kind information sir, I wish to inform you that I already booked eDrive V Hyryder. Please wish me a good luck. 🙏🏻

I was in Belgium for 4 years and I used to drive a 3rd gen grand vitara, it use to feel like a real compact SUV and indeed it proved to be a bench March of compact SUVs, the current generation grand vitara more or else is like Stretched version on S cross, nothing more. It doesn't have a independent rear suspension, and neither comes with any AWD mode

Sir nice video.. i agree everything is from maruti suzuki but the hybrid technology for which everbody is waiting is from TOYOTA & toyota is leading in that segment since 1997 & in Strong hybrid versions of both i.e hyryder as well as grand vitara.. the heart of car that is their engine is also from toyota.. so if anibody is going to buy the car from these two for their hybrid technology then they must go for hyryder and one more thing sir u r completely right that maruti is famous for their resale value but sir they are famous for their poor material & braking also. I always appreciate ur work sir.. thanks for sharing ur knowledge.

Hybrid tecnology is from Toyota only and both vitara and Hyrider are going to manufacture in Toyotas plant 😃 Toyota is biggest and popular name in making reliable cars in the world. I have seen more than 7 lakh km driven innova without a single issue. Toyota gives you better warranty of car than maruti of 3 years and 1 lakh km as standard. Toyotas after sale service is also better and economical.

Fall of Yaris in India was a different story, that cannot be compared to their Hyryder sales. The two sisters Hyryder and Grand Vitara (GV) are same, so you buy Hyryder or GV, the resale should be same. They both get manufatured at the same plant, and like Amit said, shares the same parts. So in worst case even if hyryder is discontinued, it will have direct impact on GV sales too. And concerning the parts, Since its Suzuki and Toyota Alliance, you should see the parts availability same for both the cars. This is a new segment where both the companies are ruling because of Toyota's Hybrid technology. Also, care fully check GV and Hyryder prices. If you are mostly leaned towards ICE, then GV is your choice, and if Hybrids then its Toyota. Because Toyota offers you affordable base Hybrids.

Except for slight increase in size (and road presence) there's not much difference between brezza top model vs grand vitara mild hybrid top model(AT models). Ventilated seats, TPMS etc are missing in mild hybrid vitara though boot space would be better than brezza. I have got booking for both. Which one should I go for ? I would give preference to one with better driving position. What's your opinion?

@@gpathak7407 sure brezza would be great choice since it is cheaper than vitara and there is not much difference between their models , but people lookinfg from outside will still consider brezza as c segment suv and vitara as b segment suv and more luxurious. If you don’t care about how people think, then sure go for brezza and save some bucks .

So, which one did you finally choose? I have the same confusion - Brezza AT top model for 16.5 lakhs or GV/Hyryder lower trim models. I have mostly made up my mind to go with Hyryder S Neodrive AT which is coming at the same price 16.5-17L. GV/Hyryder definitely feels and looks more premium than Brezza, they have better road presence and spacious cabins too. Most of the must have features & some of the good to have ones are already present in the base variants of the GV/Hyryder AT models.

Sir the truth is the company who can't even provide spare parts for it' vehicles for the next 15 years shouldn't sell cars. If they wanna sell Suzuki rebadged cars then better they term themselves as Suzuki. As a customer one should go for Maruti rather than a company which can't provide spares in next few years. I think they need to sell electronic cars only where they can sell mere batteries😁 Better to purchase Grand Vitara bcz resale value of it will be more on any given day. There is no element of Toyota except front and rear design. Even if design of Suzuki is not that good then too me gonna ask customers to purchase car of that brand only bcz availability of spares in the market is an issue with other brands except Mahindra or Tata. No idea about Honda spare parts support in the market

@@ayush4565 toh zaroorat hi kya hai Toyota sey car lene ki. Spares key liye toh Maruti hi jaoogey. For spares my context was for Toyota cars that they have discontinued. Not about Suzuki rebadged cars If Toyota is making Innova in India then why it's not trying to make other cars in India as well. Do they wanna leave India bcz mostly CBU's they giving. That wont help Indian Customers more later if company leaves India or require spare parts for some malfunction of a certain part. Though they have good reliability but giving CBUs means extremely expensive vehicles which won't command resale value later. If they can achieve localization like Suzuki then they can create a big impact here bcz their Cars are extremely reliable and costs of cars too gonna come down. Not everyone can afford Fortuner or Innova. In lower segment they selling only Suzuki rebadged cars. For those models we don't need to worry about spare parts but resale value of Brezza will be more than that of Urban Cruiser any given day. Anyways what's the point in taking rebadged car from Suzuki unless they give it with 4 star safety rating atleast. We don't expect Suzuki to give us safe cars for now unless govt gives specific instructions to car manufacturers

sir I also booked hyryder but now the price is not coming out, that's why I went to cancel hyryder, tyota harassed me a lot, finally when I took legal action they refunded me. A question grand vitara when will come?

Sir you mentioned so many points to buy Grand Vitara, but when sales ll start it is going to be 60-40 or 65-35 market share when grand Vitara ll compete hyryder. Toyota ll be still happy with that 😅 I own a Maruti and Toyota, but I found that Toyota treats customer in a better way than any other brand. Aur sab kuch Maruti ka hain but hybrid technology toh Toyota ki hain. And jis tarah Tata ne bolt, vista, aria, Nexa band kar diye same way Toyota me bhi kuch models band kar diye, coz they wanted to come with fresh line up of cars. Badged cars kahe ya kuch bhi, but overall they are doing good. Innova, Fortuner ka toh competition hain hi nahi. Glanza and urban cruiser sells in descent number. And now some more cars on the list to launch 🚀

This is not an honest review, Strong hybrid is Toyota‘s patent technology. Toyota giving 3 year warranty 1,40k and free road side assistance. 8 Year warranty on battery. So go for hyryder for strong hybrid.

Mujhe ek baat batao , ki agar Vitara aur Hyryder dono ko Toyota Manufacture kar rha hai aur parts Maruti de rha hai. So, agar Hyryder discontinue hui toh Manufacturing hi ruk jayega . Toh Vitara bhi discontinue hi karni padegi. Toh ye toh galat point hai ki Toyota isse discontinue krega par Maruti nhi. Also Hyryder India mai hi manufacture hoti hai bangalore plant mai. Import krte toh 25 lakh ke niche nhi aati.

Excellent observation sir, I have booked the Grand vitara mild hybrid zetta instead of Toyota, why should I buy Maruti product from Toyota just because of extra warranty, Maruti also provide extended warranty and looks wise grand vitara is more muscular and stylish, Toyota have not reveal their price after announcing the date also

ग्रैंड विटारा और टोयोटा हाई राइटर दोनों ही एक ही प्लेटफार्म पर बने हुए हैं एक ही इंजन और पार्ट्स है जब तक मारुति की ग्रैंड विटारा चलेगी कभी भी हाय राइडर को दिक्कत नहीं आएगी इस पॉइंट को समझें और मारुति में ग्रांड विटारा के लिए ज्यादा समय और ज्यादा पैसे ना दे आपकी क्या राय है कमेंट में बता दो 👍

One wrong information provided by you that is only Innova is manufactured in India. 1.Only Vellfire is imported as CBU. 2.Camry, Hilux are Assembled as CKD 3.Fortuner, Legendary and Innova are manufactured locally with locally procured Parts. Pls don't spread wrong information.

Thank you so much sir. Aaj Mai toyota showroom gya tha, vaha sellsman ne bataya ki unkind urban cruser hyryder 200 kg jyada vajani hai grand vitara se...is it sir? Apke itne detailed surve ke liye bhi apko dhanywad. Mera doubt clear Hua. Practical hai apka verdict.

Who is the maker of the battery of strong hybrid? Is it possible that there may be a problem in future to get this battery replaced? In case the strong hybrid car is left unused for long time being away on holiday, will it have problem in starting it again on return?

Not likely as it also have engine which will start, if EV SOC is low. So that's not an issue.

@@cartech5385 I believe the strong hybrid car starts using power from the hybrid battery and if that is discharged after prolonged non use, the car will not start (as learnt on google). Please clarify

@@drpkagarwal3324 Sir actually every strong hybrid/full hybrid have battery pack that recharged by using engine power if battery SOC level is low,so there are very minimal chances that the battery pack will goes below threshold value. Parasitic losses in battery is also very low so, in your lifetime you will not experience any such condition.

Toyota is giving 8 years replacement warranty for batteries whereas Maruti Suzuki is giving only 4 years. Batteries are a costly item therefore I will go with Hyryder.

Sir i cancelled my booking just because they both don’t have height , from back they seems like a some how a bit high hatch back. I will go with Mahindra because they create a true SUV. Maruti if creating a compact SUV should focus on road presence but as always they are bring a Suv with no height. I would saw even balero neo is much more deserving because atleast it still justify a SUV ( compact SUV)

none of the points have any logic. i wonder how this guy got 1.26m subs. he says 2 cars are same people know it and are still buying. buy when you resale people forget that it is same as maruthi? if all the parts are from maruthi then why fear if toyota might discontinue? you can use maruthi parts instead. LOGIC??? ALSO PLEASE GOOGLE "where is toyota hyryder manufactured" AND YOU WILL GET "The Urban Cruiser Hyryder and Maruti's Grand Vitara are a result of a collaboration between Toyota and Suzuki. @@pritamkanire585 bhai mainey toh 15-17 kaa avg suna hai usmein highway par. Achhi aur heavy cars issey zyaada nahin dey paati petrol mein unless 3 cylinder emgine. Only Brezza is an exception but Suzuki is reducing weight with every passing model

Grand vitara ka look hi kaafi hai to beat hyryder as baaki toh sab ek hi hai. But i still feel strong hybrid is very costly. Paying 19 to 20 lakh for 5 seater b class SUV is too much.

I have already booked vitara and Hyryder 1month ago...but now i booked creta also yesterday... But both dealer says that Maybe delivery start possible after Diwali. Both companies are not give fix delivery time and not fix price announcement...and my plan of buy any car in good mahurat in Navratri Garba festival. .

Your analysis is not good not a fair comparison. You just took someone random opinion and put it here. Hyryder is total different product you can not compare it with yaris. Please don't mislead customer just for sake of video. Toyota service and network is far better than MS.

बात इतनी भी सीधी नहीं है २०२२ का एक महीना ऐसा भी raha जहाँ ब्रेज़्ज़ा से ज़्यादा अर्बन क्रूज़र बिकी टोयोटा हर मामले में मारुति से आगे है मैंनेhyryder ही बुक कि है मैं उसी की डिलिवरी लूँगा । बात करें लूक की तो क्रेता seltos के मुक़ाबले दोनो की लूक बेकार है पर safety में दोनो koreans से बेहतर है touch न फ़ील interior की बात kare तो भी korean से बेहतर है strong hybrid me vitara में आल ब्लैक मिल raha है जो कि थोड़ा घुटन का ehsaas कराता है वहीं टोयोटा में dual टोन interior मिल raha है

All the cars that you analysed here were standalone models of Toyota. While Hyryder is the product of a JV between Suzuki and Toyota like UC and Baleno. So even if Toyota leaves India tomorrow, Suzuki will still be there to provide for spare parts and what not. Also eCVT and Hybrid TNGA engines are from Toyota.

Maruti ne mind game khela, C segment k naam par B segment ki SUV pakda di, wahin Toyota ne actually Urban cruiser se bigger version ko Urban cruiser HYRIDER naam diya, Anyways Maruti ka zayada strong network hai india mei isiliye Grand vitara lena zayada samajhdari hai Baki maintenance plan kya kya hai, offer kya mil raja hai dono ka wo dekhne Wali baat hogi
