Recently we crashed out of olympics and many questions were raised, one of the most asked questions were related PFF (Pakistan Football Federation) and how we were banned by FIFA. Many people don't even know the real reason, many say it because we did corruption there as well and ate the money, that's not a wrong reason but the real reason is that in March 2020, PFF house in lahore was attacked by it's former president Ashfaq hussain shah and he forcibily took over the headquarter, forcing the FIFA Imposed NC ( Normalistion Commitee) out. NC is a team or a group which is imposed by FIFA, their job is to hold fair and transparent elections for PFF, in which a new president and new rulling party of PFF is elected. Normally NC requires at 18-24 months to complete this procedure. The situation in Pakistan is that in 2018 the government of Pakistan decided to hold elections it self without the NC imposed by FIFA. Those elections were won by Ashfaq hussain shah. FIFA didn't accept this election and said only the elections done through our imposed NC would be considered as we are the rulling body of football in the world. In march Ashfaq hussain shah attacked the PFF house and took control, even though he wasn't considered anything by FIFA. FIFA gave ashfaq hussain shah time to hand over the PFF house back but he didn't and FIFA imposed a ban on us, unless ashfaq hussain doesn't give back the PFF house to the NC FIFA won't unban us. The reason why he attacked the PFF house was that he said that we have given them enough time ( 19 months ) to do elections. NC wasn't able to work for almost 1 year out of these 19 months because of covid. And when they started doing their work after covid situation got better, finally people thought that Pakistan football will be back to it's glory days, but they were wrong. Recently Ashfaq hussain shah announced a deal with Global soccer ventures for a franchise league in Pakistan, which will be a huge fail!!!. 1) because we already have a Pakistan premier league with 14 teams . 2) franchise league costs a lot of money and we don't have enough money in football in pakistan as all of the sponsors are in cricket. 3) if we see all around the world and we talk about famous football leagues like Premier league in england, la liga in spain etc, they have a proper league just like we already have in pakistan so it won't be much succesfull. 4) the biggest reason is we are banned by FIFA! and because of whom we are banned (ashfaq hussain shah ) he's the one who is conducting this league!! Using the name of FIFA and PFF which the NC has warned about is illegal!. And no european club will work with someone who is banned! If those european clubs join this shit project, they will face problems in their own country because FIFA has warned everyone who is part of this project will face massive penalty and might even get banned. We shall not support this project as it is being done under someone who is the reason for the ban. Ashfaq hussain shah is a member of PTI so one in the government can take serious action against him

Before I share my views on getting those jobs in games or vfx industry lets go over some facts, most Pakistani companies don't know how things work when it comes to any creative project be it movies or games, most local artists do not level up their skills with time. Also mostly both parties do dodgy dishonest crap that end up creating trust issues for potential high value clients / companies and that is why they end up going somewhere else. This industry like any other requires constant learning and developing new skills that is what makes this industry most rewarding and fun but also has a higher burnout rate. *Get some communication skills, be humble, honest and leave ego at home. * Be extremely good in your craft, pick your top five artists or studios you want to work with or be at and try to match their quality of work. (still its no sure shot that you will get sponsorship *Be active on game art forums on Discord like Polycount, Artstation, EXPpoints, Dynusty, ChamferZone etc. *learn how to write proper CV / Resume and cover letters, Artstation has most learning resources free on this matter till end of this year. *Accept the fact that you may be senior artist in local company but you will have to start from junior position abroad, it be pure luck and skill level if you get senior or lead position abroad straight away. *Dubai is a starting point for Pakistani talent pool that ended up in UK/EU/US etc. * Get married abroad, like proper honest legit marriage or be in the country on proper work visas on your own that way companies will not have to sponsor. Usually in this route you end up doing odd jobs before getting that dream studio position. *Do freelance projects however do them with honesty, build a strong portfolio and given how things are all remote for devs and artists alike you might end up working for big studio remotely before relocation.
