I really appreciate this song on a deeper level than most of their songs.. It's really straight forward, and you can tell Danny poured himself into this one. The lyrics about him not knowing who he is anymore because he's always dreamed of doing this and he's finally made it, and now that he's here, he just wants to go home, he wants to sleep in his own bed, and he just feels empty doing this, tired of staring at faces, sure they all know who he is, and though he's appreciative of everyone for giving him this oppurtunity, on some level, they're just empty faces, another autograph, another picture. Of course they say they love what they do in interviews and what not, but if you listen to lyrics, it gives you the core of how they really feel. and what's been his life long dream, is now becoming tedious and he doesn't know who he is anymore because of it, or what he wants... and it's kind of touching and kind of makes you feel for the guy. It gives you a view into what the live of a musician is really like.

+Mikayla Reynolds Danny wrote a whole lot of it. From Death To Destiny was almost 100% Danny, and in the others Ben contributed a little. If you watch earlier interviews, way before Danny had to leave because of his vocals being shredded and uninterest in metalcore (interviews straight after FDTD added in there aswell), Ben himself says he wrote a couple parts in the album, and Danny actually did most of the writing himself. What happened was, and is still happening, is Ben's truth lie game. Danny quit to join Harlot, and then Ben instantly took to turning everything around on him. For one, if you watch one specific interview, Ben states that they're completely over him, they occasionally talk but it's usually "hey, how's it going", BUT then in that same interview Ben claims that the new album is going to be most of about Danny turning his back because that's what's fueling his demon at this time. I respect Ben as a musician, but he's doing this retarded whining 15 year old mind scheme with everything. Yea. "We're over him, we barely even talk." ... *First two new songs they release are about how they aren't over Danny* Okay Ben. Even their new 12yr old singer Dennis had to talk to him during the new album being written, because Ben was writing it and he was only writing hate towards Danny, so Dennis was like... Do you really want the whole album to be about him?

Everyone is debating wheter AA sucks nowadays or not. I personally think that they have grown out of the ''whiny'' metalcore they played on Stand up and Scream and I like their sound better now. I did like Stand up and scream but with From Death to Destiny they seem more mature and overall better musicians. Just my opinion though but i'm sure there's people who agree with me. Keep being awesome Danny, Ben, James, Cameron and Sam \,,/

I disagree on the whole. AA used to be fun and write songs about being invincible rockstars or just plain fighting, they wrote blasphemous songs just for fun, they sang about drinking fucking and enjoying every minute of it. Now the lyrics are coming out "I wanna go home, I want a normal life again." lol They ARE undeniably better musicians now, but they're becoming negative both in tune and in lyrics, and I refuse to believe that bitching about life is the same thing as becoming mature.

xEnder686x Well it kind of depends on how you look at it. The Road in my opinion is missing your friends and family while on tour. Songs like Poison, White Line Fever and Don't Pray For Me are still about drug abuse and anger. This is only my opinion though and I must thank you for your comment because it made me look at AA from another perspective.

Guys, I know you don't like that it's not as heavy but it's still the same guys with a different perspective.
