In this video, I went to Cal State Long Beach and asked students a bunch of questions like what their side hustle is, what they hope to do in the future, why they're in college, and a bunch of other insightful questions.
Be sure to watch through the entire video to learn about some of the really cool side hustles that these college students are doing nowadays, and advice for anyone who is going to go to college soon!
Honestly, I wish I did college differently. I wish I did side hustles and pursued my passions more, and it was really inspiring to talk to all these young students who are doing great things.

College students nowadays are badasses! Loved seeing what they do to make money and their advice for other students. I'm also curious to hear your side hustle if you're in college too, comment it down below! As always, links to a bunch of free things in the description. Have a great day and don't forget to destroy that like button! -Charlie

I’m not even tryna disrespect them they sounded like great ppl but watching this gave me anxiety and made me realize we push college so much and so fast on kids and they do it before they truly know what they want to do, and the pros and cons and whether their job will be enough to pay off the debts with interest in 30 years or less. I think if college in America wasn’t so mainstream we’d recognize how shady it is

In my humble opinion figure out your goal (how much everything costs n how much you wanna make) then reverse engineer what careers make you that money and figure out current credentials on how to get that career and whether you’d like it or not, ask real people. KZfaq and social media is a great source for that cause ppl are talking more nowadays

I definitely agree with you that one guy that he said no amount of money would trade for his college because he can go far with that. Well 20 million dollars would all but make a degree useless because if you manage the $20 million right you would never have to work again nor would your next generation of kids. But at the same time I can see we're having a degree can bring stability and a piece of mind. I'm in the same boat right now. I'm 37 and I don't really have no job skills and I just lost a pretty good job making really good money and now I'm having to start at the bottom again. I kind of wish I would have at least got a two-year trade school degree but now I have nothing to fall back on so on that part I do think school is worth it. But I definitely agree that pushing kids to go to four year colleges to spend $80,000 to come out and get a job that pays $30,000 a year is dumb. My sister actually has a two-year degree and I need eight more dollars per hour then she did at my old job and I just found this out the other day. Yes she had an office job and was in a better environment but I was making hundreds more per week than her bring home. So I guess it all just depends on what degree you get and if you can find a good job with it.

Richard was Great to interview. The perspective of someone that has work experience in finance and banking and is willing to go back to school at 30 for his degree is a serious move to make and very real. There are so many people that go back to school and being full on back at Uni is tough especially after working it’s like a whole lifestyle change
