@Ahmed Mehta It's actually more to do with the fact that this is how Middle English was spoken at the time it spread into Ireland and North America. People in the West Country sound very similar to Irish people and Americans as well. If you've ever heard a native Irish-speaker try to talk English (rare to be able to find today), they sound incredibly different. Almost more like Polish or something.
