You need to understand... Jerry hasn't just been a great player, but a TOP GM, like the guy is NBA through and through, there have been few players who have had such an impact and he's still VERY relevant to the league... He is rhe logo and should stay that way! Its beyond iconic, it's historic!

The first NBA game I ever watched was between the NY Knicks-LA Lakers in the 1970 finals if I'm not mistaken in a b&w TV. I was a 12 yrs old kid growing up in Puerto Rico and that day Jerry West immediatelly became one of my favorite players ever. To this day that's still the way I feel about him. RIP Mr. Jerry West.
