@@esayefishatsyen3744 Aight well, everything was fine I think. A little upset though, on the math fill ins I rounded 2 of them wrong like 0.383 I put 0.38. So thats prob 20-30 points under what I couldve gotten, but i think at least a 1450-1500 otherwise

Yo guys. Am an international student and just recieved my sat results. Took the exam on june 3 and managed to score a 1580!!! Currently starting to prep for essays. If anyone has any good resources that they used when writing their could you share it in the comments together with the sch you managed to get into?

Man... I'm really fucked up. I'm going to travel to the US in a year, and I want to get into a really good university. I just realized that I have no chance. The country where I live has one of the worst education systems in the world (Panama). I'm on my 11th year, and so far there's many questions that i can't solve because school hasn't teached us any of this yet. IN 11TH YEAR. I just realized how dumb I am when compared to people in other countries. Still, I'm not gonna give up, I'll try to at least get into a decent university so I can study what I want.

You are NOT dumb, bro. I'm from Brazil and believe me, maybe the system of education here is worse...the way I figured out to study was to be self-thought. Today, I can do the SAT with no problem (Brazilian admission exams to universities are way harder). Take a playlist on KZfaq about math and prepare to study. I am about to apply to study in America too. Good luck 🫡🇧🇷.

I have a 3.5 unwieghted GPA And I got an 1140 on my first SAT today. I tried my best and nomatter what, I know I am above average and I am proud of myself. I will do whatever it takes to be successful in life. See you all on the millionares side.

@@jesseruscitotheitalianstal6199 glad to know your positivity, but I think you still need to improve ur SAT score in order to get a decent scholarship being a millionaire it's hard especially when most of the wealth is already owned by billionaires. Not that you can't become one but it's significantly harder now than ever before.

I got a 1060 out of 2400 on my SAT. Most colleges rejected me, but the one I got accepted into was a state college. I did one semester and left to join the military. Now, I am back at the university after 9 years, and I have been getting straight A's since. I personally believe the SAT is unfair to students as the reading and writing portion expects a higher level that colleges do not typically require. That is probably a state college thing, but I had two professors ask me to think about applying to prestigious universities for graduate school such as Princeton. Anyways, what I am getting at is do not let your SAT score define your standing on an educational level.

I'm sorry but the SAT is RIDICULOUSLY easy compared to other curriculums. If you're not doing well in the SAT it's your fault for not studying

@seantey9104 You do realize that they made the SAT significantly easier now compared to back in 2014, right? The average in 2014, I think, was around 1500 to 1600 out of 2400. Now, the SAT is out of 1600, and they got rid of the stupid vocabulary that nobody uses at a collegiate level. I also think the SAT is inaccurate because my grades at a college level did not relate to a 1060 SAT score from high school because I had a 4.0 back then. I left school after 1 semester to join the military, and now I am back in college 9 years later and maintained a 4.0 GPA.

@@ExtinctTrain671I mean the vocabulary words aren’t that bad we actually had the lists in weeks for our vocabulary tests in my 11th grade English class. But the reading and writing can be difficult imo and College Board does seem to have a mean bag of tricks with them. I disagree about it supposedly getting “easier” in the last decade or so, though.

Well - make sure your high school academics are perfect or near perfect with 4s or even better 5s on your AP classes. Average SAT score is 1543 so hitting as close or even better. Do activities that show your initiative - what makes you stand out - take leadership positions in your clubs. Makes sure your essay shows your personality. Are you able to balance your school and your personal life? Are you good at teamwork, because often you will have to work in teams or with a partner.
