Strolling through desert rocks and scrub brush Jeff says, "I can walk out here for weeks, I love it." Yes Jeff as a former Desert Rat (and trying to get enough money to move back) I can relate. The beauty of the Arizona desert is something too few can see but I will take the area you were in, others can have the gray, cold water and biting wind of the Pacific beaches.

Yeah he has the potential to be the top teacher in his field! He breaks everything down and explains the nuances very clearly, and gives it to you in a way that just about anyone can comprehend and digest. I'd bet he has some of the best information retention of the the stuff he teaches. Even the video structure is very organized and edited in a way that compliments his teaching style. I was watching other KZfaq prospectors for a while before I came across his videos, and as entertaining as they might be they can't hold Jeff's jock strap when it comes to pure knowledge of the subject! I was pretty blown away.

We used to add goldfish to the troughs on the small holding to keep the insect larvae under control. They’ll also feed off the algae that grows on the sides of the trough & help to keep the water clean.

@@Askjeffwilliams binge watching your videos now. I am not a active prospector. I am a fossil and mineralized animals hunter. But have always been a rockhound nut case. I can spot a 2 inch mud covered fossil from 20 feet. It's like a metal detector going over a 1 pound gold nugget to you. You just know what it is.. It is amazing how much of what I find Is in landscaping 3 inch minus rock. And how much Is shoe billed stork looking birds that died while still in the egg. Fully developed but had not hatched yet. I find them in river Bank sluffs and In and around volcanic rock flows. So we both look in the same places. Next time you find a multi colored rock with white veins criss crossing threw it . Look closer then step back and look again. Roll it and do it again. Look for a sun burst pattern. That will be its eye. Look on the other side for the other eye. Then the crease going around for the mouth .that's a reptile. For a bird look for head eyes and wide bill. Below that at bottom will be the knee in the legs coming up crossing and the feet will be on or to the sides of the face. the neck , back and wing feathers look like scales sometimes with the v pattern. That's the feather tips. It is in a featel position as it would be in the egg. They come in all sizes from 2 inch to 1 foot long and bigger. All have that same shape. Once you find one you will see them everywhere. And you will have another addicting opssetion to live with. I have many friends who's wives will not talk to me or allow me to come over anymore because of this. Your videos are entertaining, informative and addicting to watch. I can't get enough. You have opened my eyes and now I will see things like you do. And I now have another addicting obsession to live with. Thanks. Your loyal subscriber.

This is very informative and now, I can go back to some of my old places with this new information to me in my back pocket!
