Microsoft can be very frustrating when it comes to account recovery. A very close friend of mine has been trying for the past couple of weeks. The mistake wasn't on his end. He uses a password manager so I'm pretty sure it wasn't his fault. I'm going to copy your links and take them over to his place so he can review them and hopefully recover his account. The worst part of this whole thing is that something got messed up the day his wife passed away and he wants to get the pictures of his wife he had saved in his account. Microsoft sure doesn't make it easy to recover an account. Thank you Leo for this info. Excellent video.

Hi, I have a peculiar problem. I made a gmail into a microsoft account, so I still have access to the mail but not the microsoft service of it that was hacked, can no longer log into it since he changed password and the mail where the verification code is sent to. Should there not be an easy way to get it back since I literally still have access to the mail that the account is made from?

I have a work email account used thru outlook and it just stopped and I could no longer utilize it. How can I fix it?

With no detail of how or why there's no way I could even guess. Since it's work email, I'd reach out to your work's IT people.

You should have an authenticator app setup on your phone that can generate a code that you can use to login

What do I do when I don’t use that number anymore , I tried on multiple occasions to fill out the recovery form but all they send me back is unfortunately 😩😩 what shall I do next sir !

(Sorry for the form response, but I get this question A LOT.) Please follow the account recovery or lost password steps as offered by your service provider. If the recovery process doesn't work for you -- maybe you don't have the recovery email or phone -- MAKE SURE to follow the instructions CAREFULLY and COMPLETELY. If the recovery process can't be made to work, and there is no customer service (common with free services), then I know of no way to recover the account. If that's your situation I'm very sorry.
