When I was in 8th, I wrote an argumentative essay with evidence about how we don't use just 10% of our brain. It wasn't a good essay, mind you, but it was an essay.

I think the mix up is brain cells and brain capacity, it's true we use all of our brain cells but we are not using all of our ability that is reserved fight or flight scenarios for self preservation otherwise we would be jittering messes, we are relaxed most of the time and not working over drive at least the ones out of the know

Wouldn’t it be more correct if we said our body uses 100% of our brain while we use 10%. I mean we don’t have any control consciously of 100% of our brain.

sorry, I don't get it. What is the different between reason 2 and reason 3 ? Could anyone help me with it? Thanks in advance.

I think reason 2 more of the different "types" of brain cell for different functions Meanwhile reason 3 more of the memory cell function as "capacity" of the brain. We don't need all 100% capacity to save a single memory. We use it for all things we need to save Correct me if I'm wrong!

What will happen if we use 100%of our brain cells at the same time

The number of brain cells are engaged according to the work load, BRAIN ACTS JUST LIKE MUSCLE CELLS . if a muscle can lift a 2lbs , it engages only x amount of fibers ; if has to lift 10 lbs , then it uses 5 x times more fibers, if it has to lift 20lbs >it uses 10x times more . so according to task the number of brain cells get engaged. in critical thinking of problem solution , it engages more brain cells than every day work . that's why it has major TWO DIVISONS : AUTONOMIC & VOLUNTARY > ALL YOUR INTERNAL ORGANS (HEART,LUNGS, INSTETINES ETC) GON ON THE AUTONOMIC ( THEY ARE SET , YOU DONOT HAVE TO MONITOR) REST OF YOUR ACTIVITY DEPENDS ON BRAINS VOLUNTARY ( say you want to walk, run , speak .....think , problems solutions)

short answer: politicians made it illegal to use all of your brain cells
