Funny thing is I once got about 1/3 the price of the mount for doing a crafting service. Someone asked if anyone could make X and I PM ed them. They gave me the ingredients, I crafted the item, they laid me. Fair trade. Got the rest of the money selling processed ore aka ingots.

I had this happen on an epic (world) drop while instancing. One guy instantly spammed "All green" but didnt rolled. So neither did I. When he asked me why I didnt rolled, I said that it's because he didnt as well, and that was a solid minute after the drop. It was obvious what his angle was. Then he said "oh this is an upgrade for me, so I want to need it". Still, bullshit, because it was also an upgrade for others in the group, and BoE rules still apply. I hit need and so did he. He lost the roll, and I told everyone else to roll, for a chance of the item (aka, making it fair). He rage quite and the group quickly dissolved after that. Still, he didnt got the item, so I count that as a win.

Because he has to keep up with his hands and he talks like hes going to clap between every word.

Yeahhhh... Here's the thing, in my interpretation. Blizz are taking a hands-off approach to ninja looting. You hit need when you don't need it, you win it, sorry everybody else. That's life. But this is a different case. He told everyone to greed when he was in a position of trust with his guildmates, THEN he ninja'd it. Based on the context of the situation, it easily falls under scamming. And Blizz takes action against scamming. Here's hoping they strip him of the gold and give a ban for however long they think is ok
