When the devs put more scenes and stuff into both Frenzied Flame and Ranni’s ending, you know these two are the better ones.

Radagon holding the hammer up and the music starts was the most epic and coolest moment I had in a souls gamr

I feel like the Frenzied Flame ending has so much potential in a sequel. Imagine we fight the lord of Frenzied flame, which is us from the first game.

Man the music score when transitioning to Elden Beast gives me chills and then the beautiful background and the boss just standing there like "come at me bruh". GOTY hands down.

So you have The Frenzied flame ending = Chaos, Ranni's Ending = Freedom, Dung Eaters Ending = Despair Gold Masks Ending = Order Fia's Ending = Death Normal Ending = Maintaining the Status Quo

Ranni's ending is the best one. She was simply mistranslated. Her goal was to remove everything unnatural and godly from this world, replace the tree close to people with the moon far away from them. Her own path is loneliness, not the path of her people.

Really happy for Asmongold I remember how against getting into the souls games he seemed to be and to be here praising this game so much, I'm glad he kept with it.

When I walked into this fight I was so fucking excited dude. It was absolutely stunning watching all of the Elden Beasts different attacks. 12/10 game right here!

Really makes you wonder how powerful Marika truly was, that even as Radagon, torn to pieces, she was a force to be reckoned with.

I like Ranni's ending the most with Fia's being a somewhat close second but yeah, frenzied flame is such a visually badass ending. The other endings being almost exactly the same and not really going more in depth of what they actually mean is rather lame.

Dooms the entire world into destruction, returning everything into one being out of rage. "Best ending"

That Elden Beast run was crisp, good job. I was stuck on the Elden Beast for so long because it would just keep spamming it's homing attacks and running all the way to the other side of the map, really pissed me off after over an hour of it (not to mention having to do Radagon every time before hand).

Radagon was such an awesome boss, one of the best in all of souls games. Unfortunately I wasnt a big fan of the Elden beast, because most of the time I spend chasing after him to the other side of the arena Nonetheless, game is to good, started a new game immediately

I beat this game 4 times and didnt know you can jump over some of radagons attacks *Face palm*

the frienzed flame ending gives me chills and melina cutscene saying she will hunt and kill me is so badass

I think this one of the only games where I started a new playthrough the same day I beat it. 10/10 game.

The way I've understood the endings: Ranni's ending (my favourite and the one I did in my first run): You sever the connection of the Outer Gods with this world and leave the people to live for themselves without a God to help/rule them. I don't know if the "thousand year voyage" implies that you literally leave the planet and journey with Ranni among the stars or if it means that the planet itself is able to resume its own journey among the stars Frenzy Flame ending: you destroy everything and possibly become an avatar of the Outer God related to the Flame of Frenzy or maybe you open a gate to lead him to this world (it's not clear if the flame that bursts from the tree at the end is something coming down on the planet or if it's you going up to the sky) Elden Lord ending: It's basically the same ending with 4 variations: If you don't use any rune you become Elden Lord but the Elden Ring remains broken and the world stays kinda fucked up. If you use Fia's rune you usher in an age in which the undead can live freely. If you use the Dung Eater rune you curse everyone but I'm not exactly sure what that implies (probably nothing good). If you use Goldmask's rune you restore the Golden Order but you also make it truly perfect because Goldmask realized that Gods weren't perfect beings in the first place so the original Golden Order was flawed (I'm also not really sure what this implies). I would've preferred if they did like in Dark Souls 3 and gave us 4 completely different endings. I like Ranni's ending and the Flame of Frenzy ending but the 4 variations of the Elden Lord ending are a bit too basic

I think the coolest detail about Radagon and Elden Beast is that they HEAL from holy damage

Amazing reaction to the final boss, I really liked the quick strategy adjustment by jumping to avoid the ground pound attack before the transition to his final form 👍

Fun fact: the Sacred Relic sword’s WA (you get this from the remembrance of the Elden beast) at +10 with Alexander’s talisman, the talisman that buffs holy damage, and the wondrous physick tear that buffs holy damage will fucking melt people even in NG+.

It's a shame that Ranni's ending is mistranslated, imo the best ending cause simpining for Ranni is a must, and lorewise too. Sadly the mistranslation makes it seem like a bad ending while is actually a sacrifice to free the world from the gods' scheme

Elden Ring has its flaws, but for me it's like Witcher 3 where I see it as the best game of the decade. Everything it does and brings to the genre just sets a new standard for what an Open world game should be like. Bless FromSoftware, and good luck to those coming after it.

There is one more, if you do the frenzied flame ending final step after Melina has already sacrificed herself you get dialogue from the narrator on top of the cool ending since she doesn't vow to hunt you down

Ranni ending is likely the true ending. Ranni basically wants to close the connection between the outer gods and give humanity the ability to choose for themselves and seek their own path, without intervention from the gods. They are also losing the protection of the gods and the enlightenment/guidance of them. It’s grim yet optimistic at the same time. At the ending you are basically taken to go with Ranni to go off somewhere else, leaving humanity behind. That’s why there isn’t a throne scene in the Ranni ending.

Dude, your ending was so much cooler than mine (fractured or whatever). I kinda feel cut short for getting a silly little cutscenes in which nothing changes after 70 hrs of gameplay.

0:45 neat little detail: the way radagon grabs his hammer is shot exactly how the elden beast grabs him.

Imagine Radagon, the final boss of the game where you fight him as a state you can't even call alive,being this strong. Then now imagine a dlc where you can, I don't know how but they can do something for that, go back in time and where you fight him in his prime when he was fighting the giant for example. This would jsut be the hardest boss alive xD

The cutscene is definitly the coolest on frenzied flame ending but it still means you died and your body was taken over by an outer god that wishes to burn everything that exists. Ranni's ending means you're a simp, but you're not maisenless and it causes an age of freedom from the golden order, wich was what caused the world to be so messed up in the first place, and the wisdom of the moon. On normal ending and it's variations you become the elden lord but keep being maidenless, i guess no ending is perfect.

This scene was so powerful man even without words,when the intro music started to play man it gave me goosebumps

While other streamer like XQC and other youtubers like Pewds defeated the game like 3-4 weeks ago, I appreciate that Asmon actually played it longer, explored it more, did lots of optional side quest, and did lots of optional remembrance boss. And to top it all, he kinda did it with style, no summons and stick with the Halberd all throughout. Amazing journey, I enjoyed all the struggles and victories.

I think the frenzied flame ending is the true one in my book. It could be setting up for a sequel where you either play as her or she becomes the final boss because she says she will bring us "destined death"

What a game, finished it too, felt like it was too short(even though i got hardstuck at melania for two days) because i was enjoying every bit of it. hope this gets a DLC, theres some things that are left unanswered to its lore.

I hope they make Elden Ring 2 (or the DLC, if/when there is one) is somehow dependent on the ending of the last playthrough you did with the vanilla/first game and imports the save from the 1st to the 2nd game to customize the way the 2nd game plays out.

I've beaten elden beast about 30+ times now and still have fun running it for people It's one of the few bosses I enjoy fighting over and over. Maliketh and Malenia as well Malikeths combos are just satisfying to dodge

I know it's 9 months old, but if anyone is wondering. Just as all Lore works with Soulsborne games. You learn Lore in an esoteric way. You learn what happens with the different ends by learning about the Lore of the factions you help/ join. By extention, you learn what the ideals and philosophy of each faction us and interpret what happens that way. Part of the charm/ idea is that you would delve into the frenzy flame before you change the world in theory.

That OST during EB really makes up for chasing him across the map half the time.

I just beat elden ring what a great game and the final boss was cool as heck, I didn’t know you can jump through the attack that Elden beast traps you in a closing ring before exploding, I really just stood there and took the punishment

Seeing a dude who started out with World of Warcraft learn the mechanics and patterns of a souls game is very heartwarming for some reason.

I almost believe that the the frenzied flame ending is cannon as it's the only one that potentially sheds light on the fact that your companion this entire time may have been the dusk-eyed Queen.

What i like about Radagon is that unlike the other Human Bosses in the game. He doesnt wait for you to act. He comes right for you

I swear i had some good ass rng when i fought the elden beast. It literally just did the breathing attack, the tracking arrows from above and sword swing. It just repeating those over and over again until i killed it.

That elden beast fight was clean, my lvl 180 faith character using blasphmous blade struggled so hard during this fight, that sword was just tickling him. Is he immune to elemental damage or something?

I got this ending last night and shocked that this is the bad ending. I don't think it's a bad ending since I call it the Villain ending and it was awesome also there are 7 ending now been discovered

This final boss is beautiful man, I love it. Both Radagon and Elden Beast I like it a lot, I think the music is a big redeeming factor for Elden Beast. The spectacle and the gracefulness of EB while the music is playing is beautiful.

What are the weapons he had? Those did serious damage.... I only had a moonveil +10 and Uchigatana +20 to try.

Frenzied flame ending has the coolest cutscene, but Ranni ending has by far the best quest line to actually get it. Goldmask seems the best for the actual wellbeing of the world though, basically removing the problems within the golden order and establishing a more perfect, all encompassing version of it. It makes sense too because goldmask was probably the wisest of all the characters you can get endings from.

Honestly the frenzy flame ending looks cool but all messages and implications are pretty much dire, you give your agency to the full control of the three fingers will, bring the flames to the world and destroy pretty much all the progress you made (story wise anyways)

The dodging muscle memory from Sekiro's divine dragon really helps out for elden beast as they share a lot of the same moveset.

Elden Ring is a straight up bonafide badass game.

I felt much better about Rannis ending once I learned they mistranslated it. It's by far the best and most positive.

I have been stuck on elden beast for 3 days now idk what to do. This dude made it look so easy. And it seems like elden beast is way more chill compared to when i fight him. What weapons are those? Im using the blashphmeous blade level 10 and it dosent seem to do as good as those double axes. Update: it is 3:27am....and i am now the elden lord!!!!!

I’m going to do summonless on my 3rd play through just so it’s not only harder, but I get that true Souls experience that I loved so much in the other games. Ashes are cool and all but a bit overpowered IMO. I don’t blame anyone that uses them since it’s in the game but I don’t think past NG+2 I will be using them.

I just beat the game last night. malenia, and mohg were the best fights imo, I hated the Elden beast took like 20 tries for myself cause I was melee with low damage and low health. Blasphemous sword ftw, going to run it back in ng+ with either dex or mag

Kinda reminds me of how STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl ends. Either you get one of the 5 wish granter endings depending on how you played the game towards finding the wish granter, or you get one of the two “true endings”, from diverting from the quest and taking a different path than where the storyline pushes you. In this case, the Ranni or Frenzied flame endings give you two radically different and unique endings, or you end up getting one of the ones where you sit on the throne just under different circumstances. Anyone who hasn’t seen it before, check out the endings to STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl. Cool stuff.
