The same thing happened to me on my first playthrough, then, after dying on the third phase, I died a million times to her first phase... 🤣

I swear it’s the same with all bosses, I get them onto the second phase and either one try them, or struggle for a bit

Yeah, i guess Nameless king left a Scar on Him. I thought he's gonna face tank through Friede, but he didn't even consider the fact that Friede is a fucking Toothpick. And somehow he thought that Rolling and Beating her with a Great Hammer is a Good Idea. This guy's strategies are all over the place. He could've easily face tanked through Friede's ass like if it was nothing.

Pretty much anybody who watches anybody play the game thinks this way.

Depends on the person, he basically face tanked Dark Souls 1 and did that for most of Dark Souls 3 then learned he couldn't do it on Nameless King so he is still learning basic game knowledge. Hence when he said "Why can't I roll?" when he had zero stamina...

Cpeerson2000 oh man, Alonne would brutalize him. Without good ADP and rolling, him and Fume are impossible.

@@knonhaxb9086 enemy hp also goes up when you summon though. So you still end up having to survive for an even longer time if everyone isnt doing things to help chip away at the boss hp. And even then summoning doesn't guarantee a win. If your phantom allies die early now you have to fight a boss solo that now has the hp for 2 people, or 3. But yes if they are good they can finish the bosses for you.

His problem is not being bad, it's being bad for not understanding the most basic things like stamina management, and throwing a fit because of it. He depletes all his stamina by either running or spamming R1, and then complains about not being able to roll. He's also overleved AF, and let's not forget that he was fat rolling all the way to Nameless King.

Daniel Antony but vordt’s hammer is shit? It’s a scale-upgrade weapon so it’s impossible to infuse or buff, it’s super slow, its damage output is mediocre unless you build pure strength and nothing but for like 90% of your playthrough, and its only salvageable aspect is that it pumps out frostbite like a motherfucker. It has some utility for PvP, but for a casual PvE playthrough it’s like hamstringing yourself with a rusty nail.

Daniel Antony there’s no need to be so confrontational. And I’m not speaking in a sense of the metagame here, i specifically mentioned that meta wise Vordt’s Greathammer is actually fairly decent. I was talking solely in the context of a solitary PvE gameplay experience, since the playstyle he adopts (that being, relying on a heavy weapon’s hitstun and hoping to tank any hits that make it through) while acting the character of this colossal buffoon is directly counter to the design philosophy of Souls games in general. I encourage you to take a look at HBomberGuy’s video on Bloodborne, titled “Bloodborne is amazing and here’s why,” for a better explanation of that design/gameplay philosophy than I can give.

dude nobody needs to fucking play the game the same way as you to play the game right... I have beat dark souls 3 2 times over and never followed no stupid build guide or anything like that. build what you think looks cool and learn from that... if the weapon is shit its your bad, get another weapon. get your head out of your ass.

The weird thing is, Asmongold actually does occasionally show hints of being pretty damn good, but then immediately becomes an idiot again. I wouldn't be surprised if he's purposely dying a lot for laughs, since this guy actually managed to dodge-dance around Gael for the victory. Either that or he's grossly overleveled for a NG playthrough because that hp bar is pretty fucking big.
