Well tbf he doesn’t really want to play it, he’s being pressured into it and has said it many times, its not a bad game it simply does not appeal to him. I say that as someone who plays 14. He definitely cares what his stream thinks.

The new starter experience is SO SHIT. One of the worst I ever experienced. They need to redo all that if they wanna pull in players who stay. Beyond that it's a good game I guess.

@@wesley6571 Hey, the guilds in XIV are called "Free Company", eventually they will recruit you or you can pay attention to chat because FC are always recruiting new members so you just need to send a /tell

@Wesley Alison There's no in-game list of guilds, or free companies as they are called in XIV. There is the Lodestone from the official site, where you can see and filter out all the guilds/FC who are currently recruiting in your server. You can also see people in shout chat advertising their FC in-game, as well as inspect players individually on their FC to see if their recruitment is Open or Closed, what kind of content they cater to (icons show if pvp or hardcore raid or if it's social only etc), how many members they have, and how long their FC has been in existence.

Pvp players would not be able to get into FF, any PvE player on the other hand should just stop playing wow and switch over as soon as possible.

i didn't know if i would like it either, but im about level 33 in the MSQ and i really cant see why people diss on it so much. it's a complicated game as MMOs are and i think it does a great job of introducing you to the core features. people are just impatient and too used to flying through leveling in modern retail WoW

He gonna have grind a long time to get the amaro mount. I think he'd enjoy the challenge of getting the blue mage morbol one though. You got the recuit a friend ones too. Kinda makes me realise one of the hardest things about going from wow to ffxiv is that he's king in one, has so many rewards and acheivements that starting from scratch in a new one and being a noob all over again could be kinda jarring and possibly offputting.

once wows subs hit critical numbers guys. Watch things get better, but still Zacks most likely to stick around. Some people just have that enjoyment out of wow here and there. It’s not what I’d like it to be. But it’s also ok “at times” That being said, I agree with each of your comments. The decline isn’t great, 9.1 took way too long to come out to Salvage the expansion. And now we’re left with still, the worst decline in the quality of WoW we’ve ever seen. What I’d give to go and experience legion launching again. That being said as well, please go and watch my naughty videos.

heres the thing 1 of the things that made wow the best MMORPG, customisation, the fact that endgame in ff14 leaves no options for customisation of gear really is offputting to say the least, an mmo should give players options, ff14 is lacking in a lot of areas, the raids might be better designed themselves, but everything else about the gameplay is sub par compared to wow, the leveling experience, design, customisation, UI and interface options

WoW is special. I don´t think you can completely replicate the feel that WoW gave you with another game. There´ll always be something to return for into WoW, I think. Even though, probably not as frequently.

Minus the cringe anime style of the game, i love the fights, the art style, animations, fight animations included. I think it will be worth if he atleast spend a week on the game and achieve a bit of an amazing story ff14 offered

I been playing FFVIX for about a month. I'm glued to it, at first I was eh then it started to get good then better then very fun with alot of content that I never experienced that WoW never haves. Now I'm mount farming, got all heavensward mount now, going for cool looks, relic weapons, just so much to do in this game which is awesome. Ppl say ffvix sucks I even said that then gaved it a try and now I see WoW don't have 85% of what ffvix gives and community there is very very helpful which is a huge plus instead begging in WoW then hatred and fights come. I'm glad I quit WoW for ffvix having a good time finally.

@Rick I will Explain The Time Lost Proto Drake to you. He truly is the most legendary Mount in any MMORPG history. I'm going to explain him like how I recieved this Legendary Mount 9 years ago in 2012. Tlpd is known to be a once a week spawn that does fly around in an area known as storm peaks. He has 4 spawn points and can spawn at anytime around once a week. He shares a spawn with a dragon known as Vyragosa. Vyragosa does not drop a mount and spawns more often the TLPD. So you have to sit for days non stop to see TLPD, but remember there are others looking for him as well so you could lose him even if you see it. When I camped him, it took me 6 straight days of non stop camping to finally see him. Luckily no one was around and I messed up when he spawned and he started to fly away. I was able to tag him and bring him closer to waterfall spawn point ( 1 of the spawn area) and kill him. I promise, in terms of receiving any material item, I have never felt this joy in MY entire Lifetime. I have purchased new cars, motorcycles and a house IRL and still TLPD was something else. Granted when I did this I was in college with no job and on summer break. To me, TLPD will always have a special place in my heart as the best Mount in Wow or any MMORPG ever made. They have now made him tagable which I have to admit hurts me meaning you can get a group and have them camp all spawn points and everyone gets the mount. I did it in hard mode where I was against everyone..horde and alliance. ( I am an alliance Night Elf Hunter) so it made it that more special because it was only you and you alone who could get him. Love Time lost Proto Drake. There are people who have played wow since Vanilla who still do not have the mount. Met someone who camped him on and off for 10 years never got him. You have to camp him non stop and it's hard but when you do you will for sure get him. Hopefully I explained him well. Truly a Legendary Mount created by Blizzard.
