I think they just took a survey of specs they thought people would want to play, worked on those, and just scaled the others without even giving them much time (short on resources). For PvE: Affliction, Balance, Marksman, Unholy, Shadowpriest, Windwalker. For PvP: All Paladin specs, Fire Mage, Arms, Windwalker, Shadowpriest. WW and Spriest are shared in both aspects so resources are saved in that regard and protected for the future, leaving only 6 other specs to literally bake every utility ability in the game into them. They left the rest to rot. It seems they’ll only ever have enough resources to manage this few of specs from here on out, as they announced at Blizzconlive “they have very few staff working on WoW”. There’s 33 specs in the game and they’ve made it clear they do not care to even throw the money at trying to balance it. Not now, not ever.

See, the reason is they looked at Balance druid and saw it said Balance, so they thought they had already did the Balance pass on the specc.

@@Asin24 The damage is good for a balance, in a raid but when not in raid a druid sucks shit, they have 1 fucking defensive as balance that isnt even any good the main issue about druids is that some speccs are OP, while some are so shit in comparison, i mean for a balance the movement skills is one charge then its a fucking CD on them while other classes have atleast 2 charges, also why the fuck dont all drood specs get MotW its fucking idiotic that only one specc gets to cast the buff.

The most ironic thing is that metaslaves never invited boomkins for anything the first few weeks. Then shortly everyone wanted only boomkins overnight. They were the same the whole time, sums up the toxic endgame environment

@Actual Fight fan Raegwyn, he solo'ed every wotlk dungeon during WotLK and managed to solo 10 man Sartharion, he also got the world second solo kill on 25H LK. But he didnt solo an ICC boss during WotLK.

the game is so bugged that the boss MUST be alive for the Danse Macabre to happen, but they killed Freida before it can register.

The Danse Macabre started and then bugged. What likely happened is how the transitions are programmed. When a boss hits 50, all the mechanic timers pause until after a dance, but when a boss dies, it resets all of the timers. So when they kill a boss during the danse, all the timers get reset and then resumed when they should have stayed paused.

I think the last time that happened was rogues on Zul during Uldir, and it got nerfed heavily pretty fast because of it. I doubt we will see it again honestly. Blizzard have been careful with potential class stacking abilities for ages now.

Warrior: Condemn / Spin to win spell from PvP Druid: Convoke Pally: Ashen Hollow DK: Slappy Hands DH: Hunt Warlock : Sadge bois Monk: Sadge Bois Priest: MindGames (But only in PvP really from what ive noticed) Hunter: Wild Spirits Shaman: Sadge Bois Shammy, Monk and Lock are the only ones who dont have a "Convoke"

For monks at least, it's because you can get split amongst the covenants. Brew and WW like Kyrian and Weapons of Order is good, but it's a flat Mastery buff. MW can do Kyrian or Necrolord, which again is a buff, but a flat one. Are they less good? I don't know, but they're definitely not as "flashy" as Convoke or Spooky Scary Slappyhands.

Yes thank you, you said something here i've been saying for a long time, in this case about the convoke. So many ppl are always talking about nerfing this and nerfing that, but that takes away some fun out of the game. If something is OP they should lift other classes up to that level instead of nerfing something. Ppl whining about nerfs are asking for less fun in the game for everybody. It's like you don't get any better from someone else getting worse. But if they would lift up certain spells or abilities from other classes to match the power of some OP class or ability, you would feel better after that with your own char and have more fun instead of killing the fun for others and not making anything better for anyone.

Heres the problem with convoke. In the old days when we were gaming with joysticks, some models would have a button you could switch on called "autofire". It would litteraly push the button for you. Thats what convoke is, autofire. You push one button and the game plays your character for you. Its a complete joke. No skill involved in that ability whatsoever.

@@Danishdrums I see what you mean but nowadays hardly any serious player palys convoke anymore because it's easy to counter, stun, silence, kick, scatter etc. etc. But i agree it's kinda autofire, which is why they should upgrade some other class abilities too to match it imo. Nerfing almost never makes the game more fun.

People choose easy mode and think thats a competitive mindset, when in reality its in defying the odds where the true skills lie.

The only sad button for them on fights like Sun King's, is they can't innervate another non-healer. Has to be a healer, I think that applies even if the Balance dudu is sitting in HOTW. So rip innervate xD

TBC Classic - where your class’ viability is already known to you. You can SAFELY play your class of choice, doing the research you would have done for retail anyways. Except the difference is you won’t have Blizzard pull the rug out from underneath your class like they did both my main and my SL boosted alt.

They're all wearing mythic raiding gear with all the best upgrades in the game, if they weren't able to clear heroic difficulty with this kind of coordination the raid would be overtuned as fuck, not to mention what's really broken here is that the DH is solo tanking every boss with no healers

They all had restoration affinity and gave him a rejuvenation. 28 moonkin rejuvs heal for a lot. Plus convoke also casts some heal spells.

If you wanna see a funky comp kill a boss, get some of your streamer friends together and do a 40 warriors razuvious, rotate LIP challenging shouts, blow all CDs on/pre pull. Only has 2M hp, dead in 15 seconds. If no streamer does this before classic is done I will be sorely disappointed in all of you.

@@kail_6019 if you check many games from the last mdi you ll find out that mage is indeed doing 20% and in some cases 30% more dmg than the second dps. So in the best case scenario where the group is pulling like crazy , the pi and priest cov is cast on mage and the whole dungeon route and pulls are done around mage's combustion window and I repeat in the best case scenario ,yeah the mage is ahead by that amount. Which means that in every other case , where everyone is on same ilvl and skill and the pulls are normal and there is no pi , mage is not near that % amount . And I don't know about you , but I prefer the balance tuning to be done around the 95% of the player base and not the mdi or the 300 people that doing 22+
