honestly the melee warlock thing is interesting and fitting in with the hole DnD thing they were building. Warlocks are kinda the swiss army knife there, you can literaly specialize them into anything. tanky melee, healer, anything. the hole point is basically "your borrowing power from a higher being and growing that". that being doesnt have to be a demon. could be al iiving weapon, a holy spirit, anything.

I remember our guild used to cover the repair bills of the plate-wearing tanks as the costs were so absurd. As a mail wearer I hated those repair costs lol

Cloth durability goes down faster then all other armor so it all costs same in end. plate last 5x longer then cloth but also costs 5x more also, but at same time that cloth would have to repair 5 times vrs your 1 time as plate.

Why not just make it so that if you want to use master looter the players in party have to accept it like a ready check and you cant switch ML on while in combat. Maybe put an in game announcement when you join a party to notify the raider that ML is enabled.

Plate sucks. Yarp. Mail, Arrow/Bullets, and meat or whatever food your pet eats probably costs more in the long run however. Arrows aren't cheap. The best arrows in classic are like 16 silver a stack. You can go through a full quiver or two during a raid. Mail isn't a cheap repair either and your pet gets salty every time he dies so if your clearing content you better bring the meat. The point is yea plate cost money and maybe it was more than hunters but dam if they didn't give warriors a run for their money back in the day on upkeep costs.

Hah. Now-a-days you can't really find anything skimpy for your female characters to wear. Once you get out of vanilla zones/loot tables, everything is completely covered.

I Ret pally would destroy a warrior in Vanilla WoW... Ret Paladin= a warrior with heals and then some. I played a Ret Paladin for 10 years,5 years straight before i even tryed any other class and besides a rogue, i never lost very fights in pvp winning 8 out of 10 fights.Now i started at the end of classic, literally right before burning Crusade released. The Only other class i struggled to beat was....Another Ret pally. And in my final days of WoW, end of the Pandaria time frame (late 2014) that same Paladin had a full set of top tier pvp gear, at the time there was pvp gear you could buy from a vendor in west Pandaria in a building on the wall, that sold gear with pvp power and then eventually you had enough currency to buy the top pvp armor/gear. A full set of the standard pvp gear was still very powerful, but a character geared head to toe in the top pvp armor was a beast (specially a Ret Pally) i know Gladiator was the name of one of the sets. I find myself to be a very honest person, i have a horrible memory but im very honest. Played properly, a Ret Paladin could defeat any class.

That coming from a Person who has stated multiple Times, that he hates going into Voice Chat during a Raid, is very hypocritical coming from you Asmon.
