My only problem is that classes are so annoying to play. I feel like that's the backbone of an expansion and it completely missed me. I unironically think the talent revamp made everything worse. Not because of options, I like having options, but classes have like 15 button rotations and that's not my idea of fun, tbh.

Absolutely glorious seeing Asmongold playing retail-WoW again. I've been watching him since WoD and will continue to watch him play retail-WoW. Hopefully he decides to include more retail World of Warcraft content from now on. There certainly is a high demand for it and it's always great fun to watch him (and McConnell) play the game that made him famous.

can someone explain how this evoker spec works? :o i've not played the game for quite a long time but i do see the low opacity bar on details that probably shows the damage he's is giving to other dps :o

Basically it's Blizzard testing a non-healer support role. They're just classified as DPS even though their job is to buff the rest of the party above doing damage themselves. So played correctly they're a boon to any party and could potentially become the most sought after spec for Evokers in high end content.

I just like this stuff way more. I wish he would go on about Classic sometimes like this. Not just invite some random spergs that can barely press half a button. Go with real people that know how to play even if it means getting carried a bit. So much more fun with a little real play in between just failure.

it is fun when you have friends or a guild. Pugs are mostly a nightmare actually. I pugged the last years nonstop and it was brutal, especially when a weird meta forms and you barely get accepted anywhere anymore. Dont forget also that his mates are pretty much BiS geared and its end of the season so everyone knows what to do

Pugging is fine. If you are doing low keys like around 17 and below, you're more likely to have a bad time because a lot of people have no idea whats going on. Don't be a passenger. Ask people to take talents to help with certain affixes if they have a way to deal with them, but don't have them selected. Know when to lust for fortified and tyrannical. Know routes and how much % you need at certain points. Don't be toxic, but take control and tell people what they need to do and get it done. If people won't help by taking certain talents, kick them and get some one who can. You can very casually get KSM pugging, even KSH on any spec. If you don't know, ask questions. If people give you shit for not knowing something and asking, they weren't worth grouping with

22 doesn't hurt too much. Rank 1 key is like 28-29 for VP iirc. So 22 does maybe 50% of the damage of what's possible to live .

well first..when someone plays tank... he never dies...thats is easy... second....when u have a full team geared up for 20+ and playing as tank..is basically being carried..... go play dps...and see if u die or not in m20+ :)

This is delusional. Its wayyyyyy easier to survive a high key and get carried as a DPS. As the tank you are taking huge amounts of damage constantly and need to be using your abilities half decently to survive. Dps just have to not stand in shit. Also if you do die as a DPS, it doesnt matter at all, if the tank dies its a wipe.

One thing I hate about modern day MMO's is that no matter how strong you build your character, the dungeon mobs/bosses will always be 10x stronger than you. I thought the point of grinding for gear was to be OP for dungeons, not just for show. Prime example- Last Chaos - Shaiya - Diablo - Final Fantasy, they are allow you to become extremely OP in dungeons/raids, yet WoW will literally CHOKE YOUR power level, it's quite annoying, especially if you grind for hours and hours and hours just to get an ultra rare weapon/gear set and yea it's completely useless other than for show.

you can go do normal/hc dungeons or lfr/normal raids and stomp them with gear,tanks are l iterally immortal in lower difficulty when they are very geared. this dungeon he is doing is infinitely scaling competitive mode,so of course he is not going to stomp them

Back in the day, you could literally 1 man, solo dungeons, hell even world bosses. Everything has a cap now, because it has to be fair for other low level players.

@NA97425 Because back then the difficulty stopped at heroic, which you can still solo heroic dungeons at a high ilvl. Mythic+ gets progressively harder so people have repeatable content to challenge and entertain themselves with, it's literally by design. Apples to oranges comparison, L take.

Yea it's mostly a carry. Nony is Yumy and Floorki is Dorki. The other 2 are also high level gamers. Then we have Asmongler.

idk man even wotho that great healer some of thema re no joke at such high levels even without the aug buffing hime for having such littel exp he played very well some of them pulls are very hard to tank adn prot wars not really ina great spot rn. he got far from carried and i call him out all the time for other shit he did fine here
