Keqing *was* outdated, but with the 3.0 update's addition of the Dendro Element and its many attached reactions, Keqing's effectiveness skyrocketed, and she's very fun to play as to boot.

The one thing about genshin though is that aside from the 7 standard 5 star characters you only get 2 limited 5 star characters every 3 weeks. This means if there's a 5 star character you really really want, you might have to wait for a year before you can get them, especially if like Pint in this video the character you want just left. Eula for example went for almost 1.5 year before her rerun.

You know the real twist? This Lisa quest (specifically the stolen book) had one the biggest lore secrets, and has so many implications. But the quest on the surface is what you just saw. Something you can't imagine having any real depth, while in reality it has so much going on

I didnt play genshin for a long time (In the sense that i havent spent much time in game) but I enjoyed every second of it. I stopped because I just found other games that were more interesting at the time. But I recomend genshin to everyone who actually enjoys Singleplayer Open world games. Sure you can pay to win but there is no REAL incentive to do so except getting your dream waifu before you cant get her for a year. So as long as you dont feel compelled to burn all your money on a game and just want to casually play it. Its great (and its fun from minute 1)

IMO, Genshin is best enjoyed without ever buying gems. The daily login blessing? Sure, if you're gonna play it a lot. Battlepass? Maybe if you REALLY wanna grind out a whole month. But never swipe for a banner. The game gives a LOT of gems for free, and swiping completely removes any difficulty / challenge, and makes it boring. Stay F2P and enjoy a challenge guilt-free, or buy the blessing for 5$ for excellent return on investment that won't ruin the challenge.

18:13 I played genshin a month after release, it doesn’t take a year to get to max world level, it takes a year or 2 to get from the bottom level of max world tier to the top level and none of these levels unlock anything further for your acc besides a reward for hitting it, takes a while but that shit doesn’t matter cos you can max level your toons regardless

My only issue with this game is the lack of dialogue skipping options.

Something should be explained to Asmongold: it's that early four star characters are stronger (except Amber, she's arguably the weakest character in the entire game) than many of the later five-stars on the account that Mihoyo had yet to figure out what makes a strong character and so some four stars ended up being god-tier like Bennet who probably should be a six-star despite being only four.

I don't see how he would really enjoy the game. One of the better parts of the game is the combat system and making tons of colored numbers pop up on your screen, but he's going to bypass the majority of it by whaling. He's not going to like the story either, and he hates exploration that's going to make him think. The only thing left is the boobs.

The one semi-practical use I've found for rabbit-jumping (it's not that great for moving around, really) is using it to deplete your stamina to set up a scenario for lag to allow you to drown in situations where the game shouldn't be allowing it. (And I haven't found an achievement for that yet.)

Asmon dunks on 4 stars but he doesn't realize the top 4 characters in the game are 4 stars. Xingqiu, Xiangling, Fischl, and Bennett and they're all from fucking 1.0. I'd put Kazuha as 5th for me, and he's a 5 star. Also, Genshin isn't really like Honkai or ToF at all. There may be similarities here and there but that's like calling God of War the same as Devil May Cry.

It's actually a pretty good game , the early part is full of a bunch of cheese but the more you get into the story there are some real good sections. And the gameplay and exploration is fun.

11:30 Genshin gets away with it by making it optional. There is absolutely no need for you to roll for any particular character or weapon. There is no pvp, no high score, no leader boards and the game can be cleared with the starter lineup. Theyre also very generous with IGC, you get alot of 5 stars for free and if you plan ahead and dont greed, you can pretty muc pick exactly which ones you want. Everything is "Want based". Nothing is ever "Need based". As far as Gacha goes, Ive never seen a more fair game or system. I have 3 accounts. One I pay for, Im not whaling or anything but I pay alittle every now and then if there is something Im extra interested in. One I only get the battle pass. And one f2p- I have alot of fun with all of them but if I had to pick on, the BP one is probably the one I like the best. Thats 10 bucks a month. WoW cost me more than that and that was just for fakking access. Couldnt even skip a month without getting locked out of the game.

Problem with Genshin is the fact they all but confirmed they have no plans to release any content more challenging or engaing than Spiral Abyss. Imagine you got to end-game BC level power, but the hardest raid you could do was MC. This is a horrible comparison because Spiral Abyss is WAY easier than that, but it at least somewhat illustrates what I'm trying to say.

Few things to note: The characters are far less sexualized that whatever the fan art might indicate. It has the feel of an MMO without the social dependency. The events are duh-noying to deal with if you care about getting the limited time (generally cosmetic) items.

The best characters in the strongest composition called "national" are 4 star characters. Like 3 characters that have great synergy that together make the strongest composition where you just put your fav characters in, and it always works. The very best characters, however, are 5 star characters: 1.Nahida, loli godess from Sumeru, a sper mind reader that enables the very best teams for massive elemental damage. 2. Yelan, she gives you mobility, increased damage, tactical hydro application,etc. 3. Kazuha, he's the character that makes fighting lots of mobs quite easy. He fits in like 99.99% of teams, reduces resistances and applies elements on field. He's the character that replaces any of the 3 four star characters of the the national and changes the composition's name to international. Having ANY of these 3 characters basically fixes, improves and enhances your account by leaps and bounds, anyone else is just there for fun since meta in genshin is elemental reactions and supporting type characters.

This game is for everyone. Many of us play because we like the story, the world, etc. :) I think it's actually sweet that they give Lisa for free right at the beginning of the game. In this game, you can close the content with 4* characters. Several 4* characters are S tier. And for simps, they give enough so that they don't have a super big urge to buy primogems to pull.
