yawwnnnnnnnnnnn, I could barely get out of bed today, I had to force myself not to go on tiktok so I edited this instead, going to go and do some uni work after this
I feel like I constantly reminisce about the past, which could be why I remember it so well, but I've been thinking about 2014-2016 time recently, and lots of things that were popular at that time...
I played Minecraft absolutely non-stop, jerry and harry, mine fighter (used x-ray resource pack) I was trying to become a mineplex moderator at the time, I applied so many times and got rejected, I played on edawg, roleplaying with my early secondary school friend as asuna and kirito from Sword art online, had the time of my life, everyone was obsessing over flappy bird and we all had the iPhone 5c (mine was blue), I also had a phone case that said 'keep calm and kill zombies' lol. We all took selfies on retrica and starbucks was so cool. Lots of the girls in my year had zoella pencil cases and her girl online book. I bought vans shoes to fit in, got bullied out of wearing trousers, started wearing skirts, a tie that was about 3mm long hahaha. Daz games was going viral, who I found from his 'reacts to Jacob sartorious' videos which made me laugh harder than I ever had at KZfaq. Killer clowns were a big thing and I remember looking outside my window on my way back from school to see if I could spot any. The TRNDsttr song was really cool, everyone was on vine. It was one of the last times I would go outside on my bike and play fortyforty in with my friends. We'd also play knock down ginger (we almost got caught by this lady, she was screaming but me and my friend hid under a car). I'd always bike to her house and eat her square bars because my parents thought they were too expensive, and then we'd make loom bands and play Minecraft, skin contests on creative servers, hide and seek on mineplex, super smash mobs, castle siege, death tag..., we also had a realm for a while. Watched a lotta danTDM and Skydoesminecraft. Transformice racing, and animal jam trading. Ahhh missing it sometimes.
I went on Transformice and talked for a few hours with people my age and it made me really happy to bring these memories back to life again.
