I am in no way an Alexander Technique practitioner or ever had an Alexander Technique lesson! This is an homage to the work of Diana Devitt-Dawson who you can watch here: • Alexander technique le... which I have been VERY inspired by. Diana's work is sooooo relaxing and I wanted to recreate her style in my own ASMR video/series.

Your Alexander Technique videos reveal a subtly mischievous sense of humour. This is another delightful and affectionate parody, as well as being blissfully relaxing and calming as always. I wonder what became of Gita, the cycling law student. And I wonder if she now gets in and out of a chair perfectly, every time. "Not in our old habit"!

When you said "lovely little guidelines" at the beginning, I knew you must have seen that incredible Diana Devitt-Dawson video, but then I read your description and saw this video was based on it! It's one of the most relaxing videos ever made and I must've fallen asleep to it over a dozen times. Glad to see people enjoy it is much as I do! :D More ASMR artists should do recreations or homages to classic videos like this.

I loooove these two Alexander Technique videos, especially the soft spoken little comments... "neck is... free... head is floating... chin horizontal...", with the little soft posture corrections - it's just totally mesmerizing.

So I am watching ASMR for now almost 10 years on KZfaq and I kind of lost the big tingles and sensations. They also shifted over the years from the typical "brain tingles" to a very calming feeling that originates in my stomach. Kinda weird, but it completely nullifies my feeling of constant tension. But I lost that a bit over the years. The first four minutes, and I just stopped the video, just completely overwhelmed me with a burst of tingling sensation that I had to stop here to fully understand what's happening. It's like feeling the brain tingles for the first time again, but now relocated into my stomach. Never thought I could have that again.

This is lovely. I came upon an authentic Alexander Technique you tube video from 1989. An elderly couple who taught it. It's in the ASMR community videos. Both their voices are definitely tingle worthy!
