To us Spaniards, foreigners always attribute Andalusian clichés: flamenco, bullfighting, gastronomy, climate, architecture, character, Muslim and gypsy culture, exaggerated religiosity, clothing... But in reality there is an enormous contrast between Andalusia and the northern Spain. We could be different countries, but we are proud to have built together such an ancient country, with our differences. Spain is a great crossroads, between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, between Europe and Africa, between Europe and the New World (America). All cultures passed through here and stayed. U mean Arab culture. Islam is a Religion. It was moslty Influenced by arab culture mixed with culture of the Indigenous people. U can notice this in their music and Architecture especially the Arabisk.

Mulhacén is the highest point in continental Spain (the highest actual point is Teide in the Canary Islands)
