This has raised questions for me about American schools. 1. Kids get homework in primary school? 2. The school year doesn't start at the start at the start of the year? 3. Parents attend information nights at the start of the school year? 4. School supplies aren't just purchased at the school? Like at the office or gym? You have to buy them yourself? When I was in primary school my mum would go and pick up pre packaged supplies handed out at the school like a week or so before it started. These where covered by school fees. I didn't have to buy my own stuff until college.

I know, America is odd. Some things you mentioned also exist in other countries, but some stuff is just odd.

american student here to answer your questions! lol 1: yes we start getting homework in 1st grade. it’s never anything intense like with middle school. it’s usually just a few math questions and 20 minute readings. 2: our school years start at the very end of august/beginning of september and ends in june. this depends on where you live though. in the south it’s different bc of the heat. i live in new england which is further north near new york. 3: the meetings aren’t MANDATORY but yes we have a meeting a few days before the first day. and we have parent teacher conferences at the end of each quarter (for elementary school) trimester (for middle school) and semester (for high school) to show the parents where their child currently is academically. 4: some school supplies are given from the school, my teachers usually had folders and binders for us. but notebooks/pencils and everything else we had to buy ourselves. but those supplies are usually really cheap anyways (like under $5 each) so it wasn’t that bad. and if you truly couldn’t afford ANYTHING the school legally has to provide your child with everything so it worked out for everyone i hope this answered your questions enough!!! ❤️❤️

Hi! You always really go with the theme all the way with the background and so, I think it's super cool! Have you thought of buying a green screen? I mean it could really open new doors in terms of themes and executing them :)
