Mary! So my pregnancy brain told me to make this recipe and I tried it today...omg it’s awesome! I used crushed pineapple, which I probably shouldn’t have but it was sooo good! Definitely satisfied a craving I didn’t know I had.

My mom learned how to make this when she lived in Southeast Texas in the 80s. When she made it for our family for the first time last Thanksgiving we all thought it was pretty suspect but we ended up liking it so I laughed at the beginning when you said something similar!
