Love the whispers and the Black Screen, I never understood why ASMR Artists have so much light, when they're trying to make people fall a sleep :D

Esthetics. Zeitgeist keeps themes going. Bakery does complimenting sets for visuals. Moonlit Cottage does full-blown low lit sets for her pieces that try to captivate every sense. ASMR isn't always about falling asleep, it's equally about relaxing and meditation, with as much being performance art as it is natural... ask the reiki crowd in particular. Some ASMRtists want you to fall asleep, as it pads the run time lol. Others keep things visually enticing for those who prefer to watch. Compare Jojo and Whispers Red, both of whom have some videos with multiple backdrops and angles in a narrative role play while others literally just record negative space while they walk behind/ etc. (Jojo also made his name explaining and doing card tricks, can't do that without fancy visuals lol.) There are no hard and fast rules, it's just about what they wanted to do and what you like watching/ listening/ sinking into.

@@Undomaranel ASMR is about relaxing, so it's simple, I don't want the sun in my eyes when I'm in a relaxing mood, or specially in bed about to go to sleep, you can have light, just not too much. Even with the phone brightness on the lowest settings, some videos are hard to watch.

Then find ASMRs that don't use bright lights, it's pretty easy and simple to do. Binaural Eats sits in a dark room with only two dim salt lamps for ambience. SasseSnacks also made amazing videos without a lot of light. You just gotta do some searching. The world doesn't revolve around you so complaining on the internet makes you an arse. Michael Sealey is another amazing guy who does meditation and his voice is heavenly! He just does audio recordings so the light part would be up to you or lack thereof. Quit complaining and actually lift a finger and search for what you want.

Perhaps she hasn't that luck yet? I often believe the luck factor is real. Sometimes people with the real hardworking, have original & creative ideas and content, they have low exposure or popularity that make them become so underrated. While people with the so-so content or even worse, they are sometimes so overrated and gain more popularity/success.

Hi, can I please make a request? My dad absolutely hates it when I twist his ice cube trays because it cracks the ice all inconsistently and ruins the ice cube trays. can you please make an ASMR video of you cracking and twisting ice cube trays while you whisper sweet things into the microphone so that I can send the video to my dad? it would absolutely make my day.
