For me, this video sums up the cultural and sensory richness of your channel. Tranquil natural green surroundings, a Scandinavian boathouse, the sound of the rain, an old fashioned wholesome antique book. Then throw in your calming voice, careful delivery and gentle accent and it’s just perfection. The treehouse video is another one, and your astronomy/book-readings generally - they just have another intellectual level which makes them not only relaxing but also very interesting to listen to. Great work.

This is a perfect asmr video, I've been searching for a rain video like this with a rustic worn down shelter like the boathouse. And the reading is a lovely bonus to this already amazing vid, keep up the quality content. 👍

Wow instant favorite video. The water sounds at the boat house and the reading relaxed me to the point I was paralyzed for a moment, really odd sensation but this time I didn't panic because it had happened to me once before when I first discovered ASMR. I wonder if anyone else ever got that from an ASMR video, like being so relaxed but awake and conscious, and wanting to raise your arms or shift and being unable to.

One day ill move to England just to experience the sound and smell of rain constantly. Here in Australia you think it’s raining only to realise it’s the sound of a massive swarm of sand flys or wasps ready to chase you home, only to be stopped by a 8 meter carpet python covering the footpath. Now that is a story I love telling baha, it involved me climbing up a tree and over a branch to go around it.

I love this video. The sound mixing is absolutely spot on. The rain is just at the right level to be background/ ambient noise and you voice is nice a clear......brilliant! What equipment do you use for your videos?

+Jonny Dalling Thank you so much! So great to hear you like the sound mixing. It wasn't really planned or anything - just depends on how the microphone picked up the sounds... I'm using a portable Digital Audio Recorder Wave/MP3 from Roland, but I'm not sure they sell these anymore...
