ASMR, the acronym doesn't matter so let's just relax. Whatever your reason for being here, whether by accident or on purpose, welcome.
Wearing headphones, earbuds, or just playing from the speakers on your phone? Don't be afraid to experiment with the listening experience! Typically you can find me in three situations when accessing ASMR content. To stay focused while blocking out the noise, I'll wear over-ear headphones at a low volume. The carefully constructed ambiance is a welcomed blessing in this busy world, helping me get the work done. Now listen... come close... if it's the spine tickling, brain buzzing, full-body tingle effect we're after, I'm reaching for the earbuds every time. They're small and fit inside the ear, making it easy to cozy up in bed, blissfully mixing into the sounds now bouncing around my head. Lately for casual listening, I've been playing the sounds straight from the phone's built-in speaker. It's a realistic and cozy effect laying in bed with nothing in my ears and just the sound coming from the speakers. If you have surround sound speakers in your bedroom, you're on another level and don't need my advice. From super high-quality assortments or low-fi sounds that bring you into the space, it's good to see you, glad to have you here and hope you enjoy.

I can tell you that at the age of 30, a dark hair has started consistently growing from my chin. I pluck it, because a beard is not my jam, but the point is that there's hope for you yet, PJ. 👍🏼

PJ does the perfect Foghorn Leghorn accent at 1:40. For the unacquainted, Foghorn was a rooster in Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons and films from Warner Bros. Animation. The character was voiced by Mel Blanc (a freaking genius) who was told to make him sound like a retired military officer from the Deep South and boy did he deliver. I’d love to know for sure if PJ was thinking of Foghorn here.

I'm a woman, but am old one. Like... old. My husband's beard grew in in his thirties. The chin hair should thicken up a bit before that, but likely you will have some small separation between that and the soul patch. But yeah, over time the hair should creep up the cheeks and around and up the chin. Look at your dad and uncle on both sides and ask their experience as this is fairly genetic.

Honestly, time ended up being my best friend when getting my beard to fill in. Just growing it out and allowing it to grow even if just slow. I'm 26 and just about have a full beard. Stick it out bro, looks good so far

I'm 24, my mustache doesn't grow in the middle so I basically have 2 mini mustaches on the sides. I've been waiting and praying it eventually comes in but, I think we get what we get... The goatee really suiits you though and your mustache is actually there

2:12 I was like O.O then I realized that's american for tank top :D 5:00 I personally think your beard works well on you but to answer your question... it depends HAHA I (still?) don't have the full beard that most males on both sides of my family have HAHA yours might grow into a full beard in the future but who knows :D best I could do for mine is to trim it from time to time to keep it looking nice and neat.

The condition mentioned at around 10:00, is called Dermatographism, or Dermatographic Urticaria. I’ve had it my entire life. I’m essentially a human etch-a-sketch.

He is a mechanic, and so much more. As a teen he lived to skateboard and create ASMR of the highest quality. He reverse engineered his microphones and learned to ground each component to eliminate noise. He built a PC using components from various sources and crafted a custom housing from aluminum to maximize heat diffusion. He disassembled it to replace a fan motor in an ASMR video and explained how he improved it over time so he could upload content more efficiently. In another video he gave a tutorial on the maintenance of skateboard wheels comparing the cost of having the ball bearings serviced vs DIY. He experimented with cameras and mics in many different outdoor settings learning what worked best. Self taught and never accepting good, as good enough, he created a body of work that would be the envy of any ASMR creator. I encourage ASMR consumers and creators to check out PJ’s channel and sample from hundreds of videos. You will find many original concepts, engaging content, some very lengthy videos for true insomniacs, and always the best audio and visual quality in the ASMR community. He went to college and then studied to become a medical lab technician or the like. It wasn’t his cup of tea and I believe that’s when he found his bliss as a mechanic. Sometimes doing what we naturally excel at is the right choice. IMHO the terms white collar and blue collar are classist and outdated. Surgeons study the interactions between various components of the body, how they can be tweaked, all to improve performance or longevity of the human machine. They do this work using tools, pretty simple tools for the most part. Even rocket science is about building a machine, testing it, and eventually having it perform as intended. The textbook definition of work is the same regardless of the training required to perform said work. Everyone has an opinion, this one is mine.☮️

Don't worry about the facial hair. Just go with what you have - you look fine. I'm in my 40's and still can't grow a real full beard, which sucks since I hate shaving lol!! ... I also agree with you about people using "ADD" as an all-purpose excuse for their own lack of effort or attention to tasks or people. Same with the current so-called epidemic of "anxiety" - just another blanket excuse for lack of effort, motivation or achievement. And don't get me started on people claiming to have PTSD - a disorder that comes from severe trauma like being shot at in a war zone constantly for two years or being abandoned or abused as a child. Simply being unfollowed on Instagram, being rejected by a crush, or having someone call you by the "wrong" pronoun does not constitute PTSD. .... You don't have PTSD, you just lack coping skills. It's called life, deal with it. Stop claiming to have anxiety, stop looking for a solution in a pill, and do something productive so that you're not consumed with your self-involved thoughts all the time. They're only "intrusive" because you're not doing anything more important with your time.

Try having an animal based diet while supplementing with Vitamin D, B complex, omega 3, magnesium and zinc to be very exact or just a good multivitamin and working out (resistance training and cardio) will 100% grow new hair follicles. Also the obvious like drinking enough water, sleep etc. I’d avoid minoxidil and other stuff like that.
