I’m reading “Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow” right now. It’s really good! It does rely on videogame nostalgia a lot from a certain generation (the ‘90s) but I think it works even if you’re not a gamer. The writing is really solid and the characters are likable 😄

Hi, Yes I’ve read Sapiens. I loved it. For me it was not a fast read because I normally read in Dutch and this one was in English so that could be te reason. It made me look at us humans differently

You should look up criticism of the Sapiens book, it's been soundly debunked by academics in the respective fields Harari writes about. He speaks very confidently and wrongly across a bunch of subjects he knows little to nothing about. He's a storyteller, but the book is not remotely empirically rigorous. He's pretty much a reactionary that is attempting to justify capitalism and hierarchy, which is why billionaires and various politicians like it so much.
