As a single mother, my mother would apply for Christmas help and stuff like this during some holidays, I never knew it, so she probably got the info to fill out whenever she was asking what I would like or needed. But now that I'm in my 20s, I know how important it was to my mom to have a good holiday and memories. And it gave her joy to know that I could still have a good Christmas and have things that I needed. So I know the importance of things like this. It's not just great for the kids, but you're also putting a smile into the hearts of the parents that you help, because they know that their kids will be taken care of, and honestly that's all I ever wanted as a kid was for my mom to be happy. So this video really makes me happy, you're an angel and I love learning more about your personality through every video , thank you for this, a lot of people wouldn't care ❤️

If you are looking for stocking stuffers still, consider stickers, little mirrors/ compacts, or small Claire’s items like hair ties or bows (hair stuff always goes missing with sisters!) markers/ colored pencils and pencil pouches with characters are simple but always useful.

My parents used to always let my sister and I pick an angel off the tree and help shop for them. Was always a highlight of the holiday season for me. Thank you for doing this and making their Christmas special!

My mother is a single mother of twins and my sister and I were lucky enough to be chosen for an angel tree type program through our elementary school. One of the best Christmas’s my sister and I ever had. As an adult I now know what that meant to my mom. Thank you for choosing these little girls to sponsor. You got some absolutely wonderful items and I think they will love it ALL! I also have an idea for wrapping the basketball. Put the basketball in a small box and tape the box closed and then wrap the box with wrapping paper! That way she won’t know what it is but it’ll still be wrapped! These are great gifts! May I suggest getting an extra stocking for the mom from the girls! Include bubble bath, etc and some jewelry from the Goodwill bag.

When my divorce was final. I had to ask for help from my kids Schools for Christmas help. 🎄 It was a little embarrassing for me but they were all so gracious and nice about wanting to help. I can never thank them enough. God Bless you Mary and for all who can help. You are one caring person.

they also do adults! last year my best friend and I bought for some kids but also an elderly lady that wanted an iron and ironing board, a Swiffer and just some clothes. that broke my heart. we went all out for all of them, but the older lady got to me because of just the basics she needed and putting herself out there to try to get the help. my family has been at this point before and it's really great to see other people give back and do this kind of thing for people in need. thank you for sharing 🖤

there’s a program at my school like this where you can “adopt a child” for Christmas and you can buy them gifts. you can also share a child with a classmate so you can both chip in to buy them toys & clothes. i am thinking of doing it but in my mind i’ll always feel like everything i get them will be bad and something they won’t want or like & i’ll constantly wish i could’ve bought more/better items.

We aren't wealthy by any means we have struggled at times but always managed. It absolutely breaks my heart to think of children going without especially at christmas. My family and I did this for a family with 2 or 3 kids, and when they came to pick up the presents, they were so grateful for everything my mom bought for them. something that might seem random to some but that i noticed- the fact that some of the clothes are brand name like calvin klein can mean a whole lot; i remember my mom getting me brand name clothes for christmas so i wouldn't get bullied. it may not have been intentional but especially at the age of 8-14 or so, those things can matter a lot to a kid. ^^

Mary this is such a lovely thing you are doin for these little one's. Their parents are going to have bittersweet faces when they watch their kid's open the gifts. It will be totally worth it. I see the tree and my heart is heavy. Just want to grab all the tags and provide for each child. It is awful to know there is just bad crap out there being done to kid's. I hate it. No child should ever have to know what that is like. I'm rambling now. But children is God's way of showing us Hope. I don't know, I'm just a big advocate for kids.
