I can relate to these feelings so much. I had a video about deleting social media go viral this past year. It went from 1 view to 2million in just a few months, and I somehow got 45k subscribers from it. I started posting videos and quickly got overwhelmed with it all and decided to delete them. It’s not for everybody, but if you’re able to detach yourself from the numbers/ looking at comments it can definitely be a positive thing. Just keep being yourself and making the content that you originally wanted to make!! You’re doing awesome.❤️

Sensitivity, empathy, and emotion are definitely good things. It was genuinely fascinating watching your stream of consciousness and watching you come to a decision. I am still here at the end of the video. I like watching these kinds of videos as they are a more personal level. I like to get to know someone I am watching at least to some degree. Social media can have alot of effects on people. There are tons of "trollers" out there who only appear long enough to insult. I have been here on the tube for a while. I have seen a lot. I got to know one ASMR person on a more personal level, while back when her channel was smaller. We have even exchanged Christmas gifts through the mail. Her channel took off. I think the last time I looked there was 400 to 500K subs. It quickly became overwhelming for her but she is taking it in stride. But it has become an around the clock job. She has youtube, twitch, twitter, tiktok, instagram, patreon, and probably others I have never heard of. Point being it can grow really fast. Its 1:30am and I got up at 3am yesterday so this may make no sense. But welcome aboard the social media circle. :)

Im a new sub, just saw one of your videos earlier this week, just post whatever content you like, if its rambles, if its venting, GRWMs ir trigger videos, those that like your content will watch regardless, those that like certain things will watch those videos, dont listen to those that complain you dont cater to them they wont ever be satisfied

The only real pressure is that which you put on yourself. Don't let fear and other people stop what you want to do. Just do what you want to do -- don't let your head get in the way. I've been there. Don't focus on what's scary to you like subscriber count or pressure from others or pressure from some part of you. Just focus on having fun creating and actually being heard in a way you want. Also when you get a certain number of subscribers you can stop those awful mid roll ads. ☺️
