Maria... I remember when you made videos in the beginning that only had audio and some pink and green dots as the background. I remember your thumper shirt in one of your role play videos that people were giving you a problem about just because you are a woman and have woman parts. I remember your first upload of the towel folding video, and it only had audio on one side. You got it fixed from a friends help and I am so grateful for that because it is still my favorite video from you. I remember your Draw My Life video, and how sad I was to hear about your nose and all the things that you had went through from 18 and from Russia. I remember the video you uploaded to inform us that you were no longer going to be married and together with your first marriage... I could see all the hurt and pain in your eyes and you did your best not to cry. It was a change but it was still hard for you, and yet you were willing to be open with us about it. I remember your videos getting ready for home visits to Russia, you would bring your family like beef Jerky and I think flavored marshmallows. Then you would come back and show us all the wonderful things you got from your trip. I remember that you talked about having children in a previous video, saying that age 27-30 is where you would see yourself having children or be comfortable in. You wanted to dedicated time to us and to find your own path first. I don’t remember when your now husband came in... I don’t think it was a big reveal and he just slipped through the cracks but then you started making videos with him or about him and I say you were happy. I remember the DIY valentines gifts you were doing, the 52 cards as a little book was my favorite... I tried so hard to make one similar for a previous love. I remember seeing in more and more videos that you were healthier and happier and on such a better track with your life. I loved being there every step of the way because you have helped me with so much and you’ll never fully realize how much you mean to me. I know this is a lot to read and to take in, but Maria I hope you get a chance to see this.. I sit here at 5am typing this out, knowing that to some I might sound like a crazy stalker or a weirdo, but you have impacted my life so much with your videos. The level of respect I hold for you is incredibly high. You have gone through so much not just even in what we’ve seen from your videos, but life itself. I don't mind the sponsored content at all, for a few reasons. You have to make a living, first of all, and it is unreasonable of your viewers to expect you to upload with the same frequency and quality that you do without some sort of compensation. Second, the sponsored videos that I have seen (specifically the ones with Blue Apron) have been just as relaxing as unsponsored videos and with content that is just as appropriate for ASMR. So thank you for your continued hard work and passion: we appreciate you!

Because of this, everyone who has been watching knows what kind of person you are and much of your story, and I can't imagine anyone being angry with you for taking sponsorships. So do the sponsorships and ignore the people who leave negative comments about it - how you make your living is none of their business, it doesn't affect them, and you're still supplying high quality ASMR videos. You're not the Queen of ASMR because you were one of the first, or because you upload so frequently. You're the Queen of ASMR because of the endless love and effort you put into this. Hi Maria. Just wanted to thank you. I’m a 24 year old addict in recovery (I’m nearly 3 years sober). Part of my staying sober is keeping a calm and spiritual mind set (meditation etc). I watch your videos most evenings and they end my day on a peaceful and positive note and I just want to thank you for that. I started watching them when I came into recovery which was a painful and scary process. Your videos gave me some comfort at the start and helped me to sleep when I was stuck in my head. I find new ASMRtists all the time that I absolutely love, but each person publishing videos brings something unique to the genre. I'm glad there are people pushing the boundaries and trying new things, but I'm also glad you're not feeling pressure to change the style of videos you do (any more than you naturally would as you grow and change as a person/ASMRtist). I always dislike people declaring someone is the "new queen/king of ASMR" because everyone who is brave enough to publish a video deserves respect/appreciation, and their addition to the genre shouldn't detract from the extensive contributions of ASMRtists like you who have been doing this for many years. i really like the alternating camera angles :) im an art student so sometimes i get stressed when im watching people make or colour something and they don't use the colour i would use or something like that and i'd get antsy so the camera angle is really nice! we don't get to see much of the process until u've decided how to colour it :)

In the end, this channel is for you, not us. You should do whatever makes you happy, rather than listening to naysayers. If you want to focus on role plays, do that. If you want to talk to us and relax, then do that.

I feel like this year was both an absolute write-off and very valuable. I lost my grandpa this year, and the grieving was very tough. I was closer to him than anyone else in this world. I don't remember a lot of this year because of the grieving process. I realised I had misjudged how important I was to many people. I learned a bit more about who I am as a person as well. I've also had an interesting spiritual journey, even though I was mostly stagnant for a good part of this year. How has my life changed since I started watching your ASMR videos? when I try and think back to the beginning, I don't recognise myself. Hey Maria, I have watched your Videos for more than 6 years now, when I was 13 I had troubles sleeping, found you and never left. I watched your Videos everytime I got bullied in school, when I was painfully in love, happy, in a relationship, after my first split up, when I lost a loved family member, when I found new friends, finished school, started to work, moved in my first own apartment with my boyfriend and whenever I feel I need someone who cares.
