Good evening! Tonight I'll be teaching you the history of the Czech Republic! At the end I flip through a book and quickly whisper some of it to you. I hope you find this video educational and relaxing!

Looks like you’ve got a good thing going here. You really know your geography and your history. Perhaps you are a teacher? Put’s my little map perusal to great shame. But then I make no claims to knowing any geography. I wasn’t listening in class! LOL your mic sounds great. Your voice is super pleasant. Where are you from?

Hi Rebecca! (I've been following you for a while on my personal channel so I'm such a fan). I'm from Northern California, but I really try to suppress my accent while recording. I might just let it fly for a role play soon. And yes, I have done a lot of teaching and tutoring in my past. I LOVED your map video though! I took a little nap to it this afternoon.

ASMR Geographica...Well keep going I want to hear more. I used to live in Paradise, California. The whole town burned down. My sister still lives there. Nice to know another Northern Californian. How did you end up there?

Hertl/Jägr call out was awesome - I enjoy hockey as well (Sharks broke my heart when they beat the Wings in 94 during Game 7, we won the Cup a few years later though so it’s all good 😊). Another great video!

I remember that bitter rivalry the Sharks had with the Wings, but now that's long forgotten now that we have to deal with the Knights 😆 thanks for the kind comment!

You did a pretty good job! There are some words and names pronounced weirdly here and there but overall very nicely done. I personaly miss the mention of Jan Ámos Komenský (Jan Amos Comenius) who is called "The teacher of nations". The teachers here are still inspired by his work and try to implement his way of teaching by play, mostly in kindergardens. Young teachers have to read his Orbis Pictus (at least we had to) and discuss his work :)

Good historical research. Had a few visits into Czech Republic and it is very clear there is a magical history to different regions of the country. Slovakia as well. But never really followed through on the historical development of the regions. You did a good job providing a broad perspective. Motivates me more to delve into it a lot more. Thanks.

no hate or anything i love your videos but the leader čech was made up during the 19th century in an effort to strengthen the czech culture!! he's a part of the czech mythos which i recommend checking out as it's very interesting
