I’m pretty sure tysytube restoration is also along the same lines for just basic repairs of anything from old knives to old electronics. But he does use some loud tools at times so it’s not perfect but it’s still pretty great.

So very well done. This was quite moving for me. At a certain point - I think it was when you started playing the cassette audio - I started experiencing vivid memories of my father, who died over 20 years ago. They were good ones, too. Oh man some stuff just makes one feel well imo at least.. paranoid just knowing inevitably after maybe even just one or two attempts of needing to fix things if it breaks again the opening and closing of things is bound to break the tiny wire connections that have so little of a limited amount of workable length ngl.. but yeah or if they are just so fairly fragile that if moved a little they will break. But makes for excellent asmr.
