Florence Nightingale was an amazing person and it was thoroughly enjoyable researching her life and accomplishments for this video. I hope that I did her justice in my portrayal of her! (The war I am referencing to here is the Crimean War October 1853 to February 1856)

I sure hope you do more of these. A way to describe it would be a feel of reminiscence when you’re a child on a weekend afternoon after the rain subsides and the noon sun shines through the window as your mother reads you stories.

Alright this is random, but I *love* the small detail of the bandages being all bloodied and icky. I was expecting for it to be regular, fresh, normal bandages, but the amount of time and thought you put into this historical role-play is astounding! Please continue to do these type of videos! I find them to be immensely interesting, especially since I had heard of Florence Nightingale before... but thought she was a poet 😅

The Crimean war what a hell to go through men frozen stiff at their sentry post dead by frostbite or shot ragged and bloodied with shot and shell from cannons. I can tell you this was still a time where medicine was still being perfected or worse dying on the surgeons table during surgeries. if you want to know how horrendous the ammunition used was, it was soft lead. Imagine a bullet mushrooming in the body and little bits flying off the hot lead and travelling all over the body

This video might be a new favorite. I love the whispers and the lighting is perfect. I always feel sad when I see that these types of videos don't get as much recognition and views as they deserve. I can see it took a lot of time to prepare, film and edit the video. Also the attention to detail is mindblowing. So I just wanted to let you know that these kinds of videos (especially historical and whispered ones) absolutely amaze me every time and are very much appreciated. Thank you for everything you do!

Hey Charlette, so here in Portugal we are having All Saints Day. Normally kids go door to door asking candy (like Halloween but normally we don't celebrate it like in the U.S. or England). I know that I already told you about this on your previous video, today is a Holiday, no one (or at least most people) don't work but Coffee shops are open. This year we didn't have enough kids but then again we are still fighting Covid and it's about to rain. It's a shame because I have a feeling that the Tradition is dying, kids today don't know what this day mean. We still had some kids asking us candy (like 3 or 4 groups, normally it goes up to 12/15 max). By the way, normally when this day comes, people go to the Cemetery to put flowers on their loved ones's graves who are no longer with us (I think they do the same in Mexico?) The year is almost over and what a year, a lot has happened and soon we are almost in 2022. This year went so fast, I remember January like it was yesterday. Thank you for your video and sorry for the long Comment.

In the U.S. the kids going door to door for candy seems to be dying here as well. A lot of kids are doing this thing called "trunk-or-treat" - people park in some big parking lot, usually at a school or a church, and the kids go from car to car to get candy, instead of going from house to house. I guess it's safer, but it's sad that the tradition seems to be dying. We don't get Halloween off at all, and we also don't get November 1 off because most people in the U.S. don't celebrate the holiday, I guess.

@@FrenkTheJoy Thank you for your Feedback. Going out asking for candy it's only safe if an adult goes with the kids. I remember when I was a kid going to door to door with my sister and my two cousins (they are brother and sister) and we had a lot of fun. A shame that kids today are losing interest in that. Please, don't let the Tradition die. This year my mom bought two packs of candy to give to the kids and almost no one showed up, she had to give them to her co-workers who have kids. A shame really.
