I visited a hotel like this once, a traditional Japanese ryokan. It was so far up in the mountains, the only way I could get a mobile carrier signal was to place my phone in a particular spot on the floor *in a particular orientation*. It was located near Mount Tengu, but I just called it Youkai Mountain. This really gives me nostalgia...

this is going to sound very silly but ever since i was little i would soothe myself to sleep by making up stories in my head, as i've grown older and my mental health has become very out of control i find i can't be alone with my thoughts anymore, most of all at night, which is why i watch asmr, i was having a particularly rough night tonight with some especially difficult thoughts keeping me up so i decided to look for a chatty asmr roleplay to distract me. as i was watching this and feeling sleepy i started to get that same soothing feeling that i did when i was younger, dreaming up little stories in my head about my stay at this lodge, the characters i might meet and such, this video was so incredibly immersive and well made that it brought back, even just for a little bit, something i haven't experienced in a long time. thank you so much :)

As an autistic person with serious food-based sensory issues, I felt such a wave of relief and being seen when you described not one but *two* restaurants full of vegetarian safe foods. I normally have to skip the entire section whenever an ASMR vid talks about food. You rock Erin

I previously worked at a Forbes 5 star resort and I have to say your front of house hospitality is pretty spot on I’m extremely impressed. Anticipating the guests needs, making them feel like you are doing or offering to help with something for them before they can even think of it. I mean the preparation and performance is impeccable.

The slow fade out is insanely good, if you're not looking at the screen it is as if you are slowly walking away from the reception. The music staying at the same level really gives a sense of that the musicboxes are placed all throughout the hotel for a great customer experience.

I can’t wait to watch this. I recently moved to a HUGE urban city for a job/career and honestly? It sucks. I mean, I enjoy some of the accessibility and variety of restaurants (even though I can’t afford them lol) but it’s so incredibly stressful. There’s hardly any nature anywhere and everything is constantly alive with lights and roaring cars and trains rushing by. I miss little rivers, mountains, meadows, forests, woodland creatures, FRESH AIR? So this would be amazing. I don’t even have seasons in this city. I know I’m complaining but man, I wish I could have a vacation a rustic cabin in the middle of nowhere with a lake view. 😭

I really love the fact that there's what mostly seems to be vegetarian/vegan food at the hotel :) That seems to be a rarity in these check-in videos, even a rarity in real life in some cases.
