I can’t believe I’ve never been to the Gay Dolphin. I’ve been to Myrtle Beach so many times. Well guess where I will be going the next time I’m down there??? They have so much more than the other tourist trap stores. Thanks for sharing Mary 🙂

I'm sometimes so curious how general shops like this work... there's no way anyone was going to just walk into a souvenir place and walk out with a $2,500 Egyptian statue to throw in their suitcase. Is it random stuff they got cheap from estate sales? Is it just secretly a storage place for the owner's Elvis collection?! Does it all just pay for itself when tourists think, "Oh yeah, let's go back this year to that store with the T-Rex in the window!" The ways of small businesses are truly a mystery to me. Thanks for the tour, Mary!

Great video! When I was a kid in the 70’s we did Myrtle Beach for family vacation a couple of times. The Gay Dolphin was always a treat. And Pirate Land!🐬🏴‍☠️

I wonder how long before it's renamed "The non-binary dolphin" 🐬😂 The kitchy dolphin would also be fitting, but it seems to have a cult following with it's name.
