Hey guys, Happy New Year! I hope you enjoy this new ASMR video! I'm showing you a German New Year's Eve tradition which is called "Bleigießen" (lead pouring). To be completely honest, the video didn't turn out as expected. I wasn't sure if I should upload it, so I asked you guys on Twitter and 98% of you said I should, so here it is! ;) I've done this video 3 years ago already, but I had technical issues in that one and I wasn't as experienced as a video creator as I am now, so that video isn't that great either. My mind went to a dark place from that thumbnail. I was like, "Whoa, is Donna cooking heroin? That is not the kind of relaxation I'm looking for." I have never been more relieved to see molten metal!

I've never heard of this before! I live in upstate New York but I'm pretty sure we don't have this in the States. I wish we did! Great video as always! Thank you!

That explains why I like melting things lol it's the German in me apparently ! I used to melt crayons on a desk lamp and my dad made injured soldiers on a lamp when he was a kid ! 😂

Most common USA traditions for holidays is getting drunk. Maybe we should be adapting some new traditions that are better for us! Like melting lead 😂

Wait so is it true that this is now illegal? If it is you got extremely lucky by doing it before it was banned! It's a shame, this seems like a neat tradition.

Well as she said, lead is very toxic so accidents probably weren't rare. I know that you can also do the same thing by using wax instead of lead, it's not toxic and a lot safer !

Der Ruß unter der Pfanne muss immer weggewischt werden, dann gehts meistens wieder :-)) Froet Neuet, wie wir in Berlin sagen ;)

Ich glaube, dass Teelicht war zu klein. Ich hatte das bei dem ersten Video auch nicht gemacht, da war die Flamme aber größer und da ging es. ;) Danke und dir auch ein frohes neues Jahr!

Du musst das Pfännchen in die Flamme halten. Warum hast du das Geräusch rausgeschnitten? :( Ist gar nicht so laut.

Nee, dann verrußt alles, die Flamme war nur zu klein. Hat bei meinem alten Video mit einer größeren Flamme funktioniert. Rausgeschnitten habe ich die Geräusche nicht, nur leiser gemacht.
