NOTE: My computer has officially died. It served me well from August 2015 to January 2019 and only cost me $240, so I'm not complaining. This video was made on my son's laptop. The audio and video are subpar. I apologize for that. Yes, it's blurry and weird and looks like it was recorded on a potato. I've ordered a new computer that will hopefully be here in a few days, and then after that, we should be good. :)

I bought my mom a bunch of different types of chocolates for Christmas, and she loved them so much that I was inspired to find a few more chocolate things for her. We'll see those things in the video, along with a few coffee-related things that I want to take to her.

I remember when I was 10 and my grandmother let me buy a chocolate bar. Now I, the child known for being simple, didn’t know there was such a variety of chocolate flavours. Let me tell you, I had quite the bitter expression when I took a big bite of my DARK chocolate bar. I’d like to say it’s a fond memory but I am still haunted to this day! 🤢 P.S: Yesterday we threw my grandmother a surprise birthday party, she is 95 now! ❤️

I prefer Aldi to other supermarkets because you can get your grocery's a bit cheaper and the chocolate is pretty good in my opinion .

Wow, your Mom is so lucky, you have great taste, chocolates and nuts...mmm. I'm actually Belgian, and here, Aldi chocolate is considered to be a bit 'subpar', but I still like it (the cocoa covered truffles are really very tasty). I think that your mom (and maybe you too) would really like 'chocolade studentenhaver' (google it). You can make it yourself: just melt some chocolate, add some trail mix (and if you like you can spice it up with some grounded spices like cinnamon, cloves, pepper and/or anise), than spread it on a baking sheet and sprinkle some extra trail mix over it...let it cool and break into pieces.

I have seen those truffles at Aldi but haven’t bought them, because I was on the fence. I’ll have to pick them up next time I go since you said they were good. I always like to have somebody else’s opinion with stuff like that for some reason.
