I discuss various topics, like the Late Bronze Age Collapse, Phoenician culture, religion and society, what Canaan and the Levant are, how ancient maritime trade worked, the rise of Carthage and how the confrontation with Rome in the Punic Wars turned out.

It annoys me in the asmr world that there’s so many brainless eye candy channels that have a million subscribers plus yet someone like mr whisperer it takes years to get where he’s got to now, I mean this guy has studied so much on such a myriad of very interesting topics, hats of to this great channel!

My Aunt is Lebanese and when she and my Uncle had my baby cousin, I went to visit them in Beirut. We went to Byblos, Tripoli and the ancient ruins at Baalbek. The country is amazing

One of my favorite historical subjects! I love Carthage and the Phoenicians as well as the Punic Wars, which are absolutely fascinating. If you get a chance I highly recommend a listen to Punic Nightmares by Dan Carlin (Hardcore History). But nobody does it quite like you my friend. Truly the number one ASMR Historian of them all. I'm beyond looking forward to watching this later tonight. Thank you for sharing this, and also sorry to hear about all the difficulties with those other videos but I'm sure it'll work itself out somehow. I'd write them a letter myself if I could!!

Thanks but I think it is more flexible with tracks: they serve like time stamps, you can put what you want in a playlist of the desired length, and if you disable auto play Spotify will stop playing at the end of the list.

It's hard to imagine Carthage would ever fall. I know the story well, to think a city so perfect would eventually fall, only the Romans could succeed in such a terrible and impressive feat of engineering

KZfaq won’t leave anyone alone I guess! This gentleman makes amazing content, a truly unique artist! The French whisperer should be the type of talent KZfaq cultivates! Instead they harass him.
