Same. It's so bizarre that this way isn't a everyone kind of thing, always thought it was weird that I had it but I just thought everyone did as well.

Mine have gotten worse over the years too. I've been wearing contacts for 30+ years and I had to switch to toric contacts.

My right eye is constantly like looking through steamed up glasses. So my left eye is carrying astigmatism for 2. Christmas sure is pretty

@@thecozyhospitalasmr yeah it's not the first time I've been "swept" before unfortunately but it's usually a good 24 hours before I bounce back fully. Luckily it was the red again because some of us have the full on green beams and those are so much worse! 😵

You can see streaks with 20/20 vision. Astigmatism doesn’t necessarily always affect how far you can see. I’m not an expert in this but have a couple friends with astigmatism and one of them can see just fine close and far away, it’s just at night or around a lot of lights that he struggles.

English isnt my first language, so sorry for any mispelling. The way you can imagine the term „Vision“ is the „resolution your eye can achive“. For example 20/20 Vision is like 4K and something like 05/20 more like 360p. The prescription you have, be it with or without astigmatism, only tells you what you Need to achieve said Vision. Also your dad just most likely reached the age in which the muscles of the eye cant compress the Lens enough to read easily, so no worries there ;) I will say tho, checking up with the doc is always recommended since were all prone to devolop a cataphract, especially as we get older. Hope it clarified some things for you

I make some of it out of other things. The camera is an embroidery loom, a picture frame and a phone light glue gunned together 😂
