@@johnpauliii8868 hehe most colours are variants of this no? whatever bounces off a white wall would look quite different if we had receptors in say, xray range. how can we distinguish between an "artificial colour" and a "true wavelength"? what if it was the other way around: it is the set of *combinations* of wavelengths that activates our colour senses that determines each colour, and single wavelengths of light that happen to recreate the relative activation ratios are the oddity, not "the true representative" but rather the simplest combination for a colour...

@@OsirusHandle as a programmer, I consider white a colour because it is #FFFFFF meaning red green and blue wavelengths. So I don’t disagree per se, it’s just I was raised being told it wasn’t a colour and had to post the comment :)
