I’d like to correct you on Kashmir thing. The Kashmir region had a predominant Muslim population whilst its ruler was Hindu, Raja Hari Singh. Not the other way around.

I just found you and your content genre is soooo cool and very very appreciated by me, someone who loves learning about different cultures but needs it to be in ASMR because standard youtube videos are too boisterous and stressful. I feel like a channel like this should have a bigger audience but I appreciate your dedication no matter what, thank you so much for doing what you do!!

I'm not from South India but I think it's cool that you went out of your way to spotlight a lesser known region.

The other cool thing is that the Deccan region includes the Deccan Traps which are ancient flood basalts-- you see similar things of layers of lava having cooled and created stepped plateaus in Siberia, eastern Washington and Oregon, Ethiopia, etc. and these are really cool because they're from major volcanism like from rifts and hot spots under continental crust (thicker than oceanic). The Deccan Traps happened around the time the dinosaurs died off and probably contributed to their demise along with the impact. BTW your description of the subcontinent creating the Himalayas was good :) The thing that's special about it that I didn't really get until recently is that it's basically continental crust subducting under other continental crust (trying to anyway and obviously being similar density and thickness a lot of this isn't subducting successfully but is scraping up and accordion-ing into mountains) which is pretty rare on that scale at least in our present time.

I must say that you know a lot about India, and its an experience for me to understand how ppl learn things or getting to know how they might have have gotten the knowledge, the chronology etc, Just one comment u forgot the gupta empire which was the golden age of India, the numerals that we right today 1,2,3,4,5,6 etc came during this period

43:30 The statue is of a man named Sri Gomateshwara Bahubali and he is depicted being naked. That’s why the whole statue isn’t shown. Some Jains believe that the sky is their clothing and that they don’t need to wear clothes
