This is very weird and specific but I find a lot of my enjoyment of ASMR, specifically Fast, is how deliberate the actions are like they're looking for a result.. like they're trying to actually clean the ears, or trying to open a jar, or trying to lather a cloth, or trying to check for lice/dry spots, etc. If that makes any sense. It appears like an actual task that requires focus and concentration rather than some slow, patternless behavior. It gives me the second hand tinglies like someone is rubbing MY ears, or touching MY head or whatever. It's what also makes videos of massage and scalp checks so nice, particularly if they have a live model, is the person performing the act has an intention and focus rather than an idle motion for a few seconds.
