I like asmr because it helps me focus and sleep. it helps me work on my school stuff, it tunes out all the background noise and helps me focus my brain. Also the ASMR community is very wholesome (of course that is if you don't go looking for trouble). Most asmrtist don't really care as much about the famous part of being a youtuber. And usually they enjoy what they do😊 (but of course there are always the ones in the community that stick out, but that's with everything)

I remember being curious about ASMR because everyone seemed to hate it so much so I gave it a go to see if it was as bad as people were saying it was. Now, like 5 years later, can't sleep without it ✌️ Big fan of the meme/story ones too like Ephemeral Rift

If you put your mind to it anything can make you tingle oompa

Im personally only into examination asmr such as dentist, ocular, nerve etc. Im guessing its because when i was young, going to the doctor and getting examined irl was something i enjoyed, no idea why but i found it very relaxing and i guess the asmr videos of it reminds me of it.

most asmr now is kinda weird but there are some people who try really hard with their sets and spend a lot of money and are great, those are the ones i love the most.

The only ASMR I like is the sound of rain. To me, that’s calming and relaxing. Living in Texas we don’t get much rain so when we do get rain, you can find my husband and I sitting on the back patio, listening to the rain, and talking.

Honestly for me it helps me with my tinnitus, the only thing you can do for that is mask the sound and for me it works out perfectly, cept the weird eating ones those are creepy.

My biggest trigger in life (a phobia I guess?) is listening to people eat, chew, breath loud while eating, clanking their silverware, scraping their teeth on their fork, slapping their lips, etc etc. It literally will send me into a BLIND RAGE!!!
