The fake blood is usually a kind of mint flavored syrup, but I'm not sure about that brand. It's not pleasant tasting, but it's tolerable.

It’s typically an edible, food/health safe, dark colored syrup of some kind. It’s not horrible, but it’s not enjoyable. Basically, whatever can be swallowed harmlessly, not make the actors/actresses puke it out in disgust or get sick from it, and be used to imitate blood is fine.
