a winters promise is amazing! the whole mirror visitor series is sooo good!! i read it in german because its my native language so idk how the writing is in english but in german it was.. well.. fantastic! by all means! it completly surprised and catched me and i‘m still thinking about it (especially the end of part 4) almost every day:) such an interesting and unique world! i‘m really looking forward for your review about it because i barely ever see someone talk about these books

I don’t know if you take recommendations but a book I feel is your sort of style is actually one my uni professor wrote. She won the Booker prize alongside Margaret Atwood. By far my fave professor I got to learn from and her book was the best one we read on the course syllabus. It’s called Girl, Woman, Other by Bernadine Evaristo. It’s absolutely beautiful

Just finished All the Ugly and Wonderful Things by Brynn Greenwood. One of the best books I have ever read. Original story and I couldn’t put it down! Highly recommend.

I remember reading Allegiant while visiting my family in Mexico and I was sooooo sad for a few days after finishing the book LOL no one understood the pain I was in

it did take some time for me to get into the story, but overall i loved it! gave it 4 stars. still neeed to read the second one.

though i absolutely love both of them, when I was 12, i felt connected more to the characters in divergent. now as a 22 year old, who knows. i still need to reread the series. either way, lets maybe not judge 12 year old me's opinions too harshly LOL.
