Your drawing of Europe is equivalent to how well I can draw the US from memory and your drawing of the US is equivalent to how well I can draw Europe from memory.

I think what works about your videos, at least for me, is that it feels like unintentional ASMR. Unintentional is my favorite because I feel like less is more when it comes to triggers. A lot of ASMRtists try too hard and the effect winds up more awkward than anything else. Again, my own opinion. But your videos are a breath of fresh air, so thanks for sharing these. 😊

+V Dubs Thanks so much, you have no idea how glad you make me by saying that. I can't say I try to do unintentional ASMR (that would be impossible, wouldnt it?) but just like you I usually find unintentional ASMR much more relaxing than intentional. I try to find topics that I myself find interesting to talk about, and hope that it can induce some ASMR to some people. Kind of making the ASMR triggers secondary probably. Haven't thought about it really, so I'm so glad you mentioned this! It's so valuable to me to hear your feedcack! Very glad to hear you enjoy my content :)

Woah... I'm not sure if its because I'm a guy but I'm usually not into relaxing off of men's ASMR voices. BUTTTT, you are one huge exception lol. I woke up this morning, messed around for a couple hours and then popped on a random asmr video that just happened to be from your channel. I didn't wake up into 5pm!!! No joke, your voice and the sounds you make... Like the sounds I love because they aren't really forced, they are just natural sounds that one makes when doing something, which I love. Idk, everything about your videos are just perfect, so glad I found your channel!!! Your voice was meant for this man, seriously. I don't say that ever, it really is.

ASMRctica A good way to rememeber how to draw Michigan is that it looks like a mitten. Hopefully that will help with the shape of the Great Lakes as well (:

Growing up in Michigan, with knowing we have the UP, was cool but most of the time I kinda forgot we even had it, I lived close to Detroit so we never got anybody from that far north😂

A tip for remembering the Great Lakes is that combined they make a sort bird shape. Lake Superior being the face and beak, Lake Michigan being the left wing and Lake Huron being right wing/body. Lake Erie and Ontario being the feet. Great work!

You forgot the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (a.k.a the UP). The locations of the states in the east and Midwest were a bit off. Pennsylvania is more in line with Indiana. But you still did better than me!

One other tip is that New York touches both Lake Ontario and Lake Erie. Keeping that in mind will help you leave room for the other east coast states

hey man, love your vids. really calming, relaxing and interesting. what you say is actually interesting. because of that it can be annoying when u make a pouse of a couple of secs between each word. for me, a little pouse can suit quite well.

In Wisconsin we tend to think of our state as a mitten or a hand with the UP of Michigan starting at the tips of the fingers and the Mississippi separating us from Minnesota. Good work for just learning though!

Arkansas came into the Union before Kansas, so the "ArkanSAW" pronounciation is correct. So I guess you are a "KanSAW" native haha

If you ever draw the US again, try drawing the Great Lakes around the lower peninsula of Michigan, which looks a lot like a hand, it helps me a lot when I'm trying to draw them.

They're unfortunately a little more difficult to get in America. I re-read the Tintin series every few years, and the Valerian comics finally came out with English translations thanks to the movie. I enjoy Asterix (lots of puns) and Gaston from some of the more popular titles, too :)

I read or heard that Arkansas was originally pronounced the way you're saying it. Some people also say it the way you're saying it to good-naturedly mock Arkansas/Arkansans.

It's spelled and pronounced that way because it was a French territory- I think Kansas and Arkansas are named for the same Quawpaw word, but Kansas is English and Arkansas was French. The same thing can be found with Wichita (Kansas) and Ouachita (Arkansas)
