I had this cozy idea to redo the leg massage video I did a while back (where I made 2 separate versions in both English and Italian) but instead combine that into 1 video where I switch between the languages!!! Maybe it'll be tingly if you don't understand the language (or do!!!) or the combo of the dual languages switching back and forth might be a new trigger?? I'm not sure, but we'll see!!!

🌱 what is ASMR?🌱
ASMR, or Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, is described as a tingly sensation or feeling that travels from the base of the scalp down the limbs and can manifest in different parts of the body. It causes a lovely, relaxing feeling to the people who experience it, as well as sometimes pleasant 'shivers', and can help with things like insomnia or trouble sleeping. It can occur in situations like hearing a particular sound or 'trigger', and many people experience varying degrees of the phenomenon. Not everyone who listens or watches ASMR videos experiences the sensation however! Some people utilize the sounds of a soothing voice or certain trigger(s) to help fall asleep or relax, without feeling the 'tingles'. It is a blossoming community online, whose main purpose is to bring tranquility and tingles to whoever enjoys it! ✧

So, heres the thing. I already know english, but im learning italian. Both of them are not my mother language (obviously) so, besides relaxing me, this is teaching me 2 languages at the same time!!

don't worry, your italian is PERFECT! many italian native speakers cannot even speak it as well as you do, and the slight southern accent makes you sound even more fluent ahahah

I’m an Italian and fluent in English and this to me just felt like repeating stuff twice which was strangely relaxing 🧍‍♀️And also your Italian is great, you have a perfect pronunciation and you definitely speak it better than certain Italians here lol😭

Ok so, I’m Italian and the very first video of yours that I saw was one in my language, the one where Nonna does things, and while you were talking I was very convinced that you were Italian, even if some words confused me by how they were pronounced and placed grammatically in the sentence, but when I went down in the comments and read that you learned Italian from your partner I was very disappointed. (Not in a bad way ofc!!) FOR ME YOU'RE ITALIAN, PERIODT. TI AMO❤

I love the shapes trigger! Reminds me of the time, when I took my nieces to the dentist. I spent the entire time rearranging the wooden shapes. I think I was more nervous than them 😅. It’s always a pleasure, White Rabbit! Take care 🫶

This takes me back to my childhood. I had older family members who didn't know English and only spoke Italian. I wish I'd picked up a bit more of the language.

Wanted to learn Italian as a kid after a trip to Rimini. (And San Marino.) And throughout my life I had some crossroads in life, like playing in a band with two Italians. But I never put in the effort. I know more Greek than Italian.
