Oh yeah, big tip, Japanese nouns have inflections! Many people say they don't, but they do. You showed あめ (飴) and あめ (雨), which according to the rules have the same pronunciation. Nope! あめ (雨) goes from high to low (like falling rain), while あめ (飴) goes low to high. It's a very subtle difference in sound, but it helps distinguish them.

The pronunciation for を is the same with お however writing is different. The を is especially used to join A and B into one phrase. The を sometimes has been calling "くっつきのを" to avoid confusion with お. For example if you have A, the situation is written as "わたしは A を もっています" . "わたし" and "A" are joined together(くっつけられた)with a action, "もつ" therefore the を is called "くっつきのを" .

わぁ、これはすごいですね! あなたはいつ習いましたか。... I hope that's right. My brother has been learning Japanese for a little over a decade, I've picked up a few things from him. I started learning Korean last year but gave up pretty quickly. It's awesome, but I think I need to find a way to let my ADHD brain learn an entire new language when I'm already in my 20s.
@ASMRAlise
@ASMRAlise 3 жыл бұрын
ありがとうございます!大学で日本語を勉強しているんです。それに、私の彼氏は日本人だから、毎日練習ができます! Yes that was perfect :) Wow you tried learning Korean?? I did too a few years ago!! 좋아! I totally understand, it's hard to stick with one thing when your brain wants to jump into like 10 niche hobbies at once but you get overwhelmed and burnt out and end up quitting all of them (and then feeling guilty about it). The thing that helps me with language learning is finding ways to hold myself accountable so I can't stop. Taking formal classes is the best way, but unfortunately they aren't very accessable :/ Another way is to make friends who speak the language / who are learning it so you can support each other. Apps like HelloTalk are great for meeting speaker buddies (and making cool friends from around the world :D) Sorry this turned into a whole essay, I am very hyperfixated on languages and I love meeting people who are interested in learning as well! I hope you can find a way to learn that works best for your brain. Don't give up!!
