9:05 my grandmother had a gold mesh cigarette case exactly like that! Every time I see that material, it reminds me of her. I used to play with it as a kid bc I just loved how it felt.

I LOVE estate sales. I collect vintage clothing and accessories (my favorite eras are 60's and 70's). You mentioned that purse was by whiting and davis and I actually have a vintage coil snake bracelet from that brand

My grandma never wore makeup but she did have a small obsession with boot boxes that were like bigger hat boxes. She never got married and she never really went anywhere but she had like 5 boot boxes that held these tall gogo boots. Whenever I would go see her I would try them on. I wish I would've gotten one or two when she passed but my mom tossed everything. I'm still bummed about it, she's been gone for 15 years but she was my absolute best friend.

That green case is called a vanity case in my culture 🤗 women usually use it as a storage for makeup and toiletries when they stay away from home. Pity they aren’t as widely sold nowadays! 😤

LOL that's what I did when I was a pre-teen! I didn't have Barbie makeup but I did have this one frosted mauve lipstick, I remember called "violet ice" and I put it on and thought I was the hottest girl at the roller rink. I'd put it on in the mirror and sometimes even change my top there and before I left!

My mom ALWAYS carried her cigarettes in her case. She used to smoke Benson and Hedges mentol and would rip off the lid of the cigarette pack before putting it in her case. She used to have cases with matchin coin purses and what not. Her and I were just talking about this the other morning! So funny.
